rattle/noise

a couple days ago i started getting a tapping like noise in my upper dash area by my windshield wipers. now whenever i hit a bump it sounds like something is tapping or bumping against something else. anyone have any problems similar to this or any ideas on what it could be? I thought it maybe the power cord to my system that was hitting some metal. i moved the cord a little tonight will wait n see if that fixes it but it didnt see like it was close to hitting anything.

just for fun, check your in-cabin air filter tray and make sure it didn't slide out or anything. just in case
