ok so i've ran into a problem now tha ti have my new lip kit......i sit to low to use my scissor jack and there's no way in hell i can get up on the lifts at the dealership for oil changes... so question being for all of those who are slammed or near the ground, what's your method for getting your car high enough to change oil or swap out wheels?

You might have to buy a special jack it's called a "Racing Jack"!
Places to buy: Sears,Snap On Tools,Napa, and some other auto part retails might!

And doing an oil change on a TC is very easy you don't need to pay the high prices!
All U need is a Hand Jack,14mm Socket with a Ratchet-or-14mmCombonation wrench, a Oil Filter Plier, and a oil catch pan! You could save $5-25$ if U do it yourself!

or get two small pieces of wood and drive up onto them. Thats what we have to do at the local shops for all our lowered cars!

For me, when we worked on my neons, I had to just keep doing quarte turns on my jack will I could get the car up high enough to do full turns. I tried a board method but it didnt work. my dealer normally has to lay down 2 or 3 pieces of wood before I can fit up on the ramps. I normally stand back there and watch them to make sure they dont F something up. Most of them know me, so they are usually pretty careful. It can be done.

ok i'll try that. because i didnt want to buy airbags that i'd heard about for raising cars. and only reason i had dealerships do it was because of the free ones, and had them check all my stuff so that they couldn't try to BS me if something goes wrong.

and justin; dont think can do that. if i turn it side ways to get it under and turn it right side up it pushes the sideskirts outwards...that's what i'm trying to avoid :(

Most "Racing Jacks" may not be the same but U always want to double check read the specifications just to see the clearance, how high can it raise up, and most importantly compare it with your rides clearance!
