Nitrous Installed... But Need Help...

Its freaken 2:12am and i just finished my nitrous install. I've had the air brushed bottles in the rear for ever now, and i'm tired of people asking me "how much faster is it", or "do you have a purge valve" or, "how big of shot are you running"...blah, blah, blah. I guess i had it comming tho.... who puts nitous bottles in thier car and doesn't hook them up.

Anyways.... I got all my lines ran, purge valve installed, switches installed, but i need to know where the fpr is located. I didn't look to hard... i'm freakin dead tired!

I'm using the Zex fuel control unit, and it reguires 2 vacume lines... one from the intake manifold, and one fromthe frr (fuel pressure regulator). I don't have any vacum line at this time, thats why i wasn't to worried about it. I do, however have the purge hooked up, and its ready to rock and roll.

We're leaving for the Kansas City show tomorrow night as soon as i get off work, so any of you that are free, i have a empty nitrous bottle that needs to be filled. I'm only goona fill one.... i still need to check for leaks and all that good stuff you know.

if someone is free on sat, call me. I'll give you my garage code to get my bottle. I think there are only 2 places in Tulsa that fills... Grand prix, and Speed shop.

i'll take pics this weekend at the show, and post them when i get home.


oh yeah...... I can't find my freakin nitrous jets anywhere either... I think i left them in Pryor... :cry:

Your FPR should be in/with your fuel pump which I believe is in the tank if it's a vein style pump. Typically FPRs are located near/off your fuel rail, but since our rides aren't return style, it's mostly in the fuel tank assembly. It's about time you put some spray in those tanks... I'll fill them up for your and be an errand boy for the price of a plane ticket, bro... I'll also make your nos kit work right lol

Yep, I will say it is in the tank as well. I knew that when we installed the supercharger cause we had the fuel rail off. No regualtor at the rail. If I wasn't working today I woulda filled your tanks.... Jaquetta beat me to it anyway. She is 1 in a million I tell ya. :loveit:

Jaquetta filled my tank today, and when i got hoime, it was hissing. i sprayed it with some soapy water and the damn gauge fitting is leaking.... my luck for the past week or so has been so shitty. On top of that, the effin purge valve isn'[t working either.... so now i have a leaky tank, no purge, no nitrous jets, and i wasted $35 on a bottle fill........

god i hate this car!

So get this shit...... Were sitting at sonic on our way out of town to Kansas City, and my purge valve goes off. at the time, i thought i broke a nitrous line, but after getting home from a long weekend, i inspected the lines, and all are fine. I open the bottle only to find that my purge solinoid is stuck open.

looks damn cool tho!

Well, if it makes you feel any better. My glass globe that covers the lights up in the garage just fell and shattered on my car. Denting the roof right above the window on the drivers side and chipping and scrathing my paint all to hell on the hood and fender.

You are not the only one with bad luck. I give up. Everything I do gets ruined............... fuck all this spending money just to have something fuck it all up.

tell me about it. its always something with me... no matter what car i drive. I own 3 vehicles and the only one i haven't had a problem with is my beater ass truck. its a 1986 chevy s-10 long bed, w/ a 4cyl 4speed manuel.

my scion is a headache, but its always my last minute projects that get me in a jam. you'd think i'd learn by now.

And my mitsu........don't get me started!!!! i actually made a part-out-list for the mitsu tonight..... it will be gone in a few months... i got the frame/body sold for 3k already
