I have JL Audio 10W0-8 and looking for a good small(dimension) amp that will power it. I have it in a Qlogic band pass box.

"The JL Audio 10W0-8 is a 10" 8 Ohm Voice Coil Subwoofer with a 125 Watt RMS Power Handling Capability.
This speaker works extremely well in very small sealed, ported and bandpass enclosures.
The JL Audio 10W0-8 gives the user a high degree of application flexibility"

Depending on what you want to spend, look into Arc Audio or Stetsom. They both make amps that are VERY small in size but VERY big in power and they do true, rated power.

i know this autotek would push it and its pretty small...10.5" x 5.5" x 2.75"
only thing is,when you have an oldschool amp like this, you also need an external crossover. the MA AUDIO amp will push it too but is probably bigger than you want.

Ok, i need some help..

It says 125 RMS. Now if i get a 2 channel amp that i wanna bridge to 1, what do i look for to get it 125RMS for that speaker? also how does the Ohm thing work? I don't want to blow my speaker, but I want to get some power to it.

being that its an 8 ohm sub,you will need to find an amp capable of 250w bridged at 4 ohm in order to send 125w to your 1 sub.

Here you go, 250x1@4ohms. Small form factor. only $150.

Or you can get the exact same amp under a more popular brand name and pay $300.

Well, my sub is shredded and now i need a new one and amp, so i think i am going to get a 5channel amp, and get new components for the front and rear doors.

Since I am a novice at system building, any help would be appreciated it.

I have the premium head unit.
and i have a 10" QLogic bandpass box.

Thanks in advance..
Craig

Thanks for the link man, I never knew there was a company out there that was copying the Arc line up. Only problem is that I read through 6 pages worth of crap and didn't get any performance comparison at all! WTF??? All that damn arguing to see who has the bigger stick with no end just doesn't make sense and that's why I don't go to that forum very often if at all. But, it was a pretty good read for the first couple pages so thanks for that tid bit of info.

chizwiz.......I like the Alpine PDX and JL Audio HD 5channel amps, they are very efficient, very small and perfect for use on a Scion stock electrical system. But not inexpensive.
