If you look at the last few pics I took a close up shot of the broken ring land on the piston in cylinder 1. The car has never been tuned properly and it is my guess that this was the cause of the failure. I will let Olindo disclose the build specs unless he wants me too...

is the elbow gonna clear the hood? And that turbo is pretty damn big. I'm praying that manifold doesnt crack for a while. You could try welding some tabs to the downpipe and using the stock support brackets or making new ones.

looks pretty good man! you dont think you'll need bigger than 550's? I put 660's in my wife's TC and she's running a SC61 turbo on a stock motor (for now)

Nope... 440s are actually rated to 350hp when tuned properly the 550s will be a little overkill, especially with the fuel pump setup we will be running. The manifold is an RP top mount. Thanks!

Olindo came by yesterday for his first drive and I believe he was super happy. He will be by to pick up the car once we have it cleaned up tomorrow by my detail guy baby her for 500 miles then back to finalize the finished product with some good numbers to boot!

That picture of the huge turbo was a joke that is an 82mm precision that wouldn't even have spooled half way on that car... LOL! It's an EvoIII 16g style turbo, the blow through was already part of his setup and actually is something we are doing a lot more of as it makes tuning a hell of a lot easier.

i did a blow thru maf on my wifes car too. i did it bc the turbo i put on has a 4" inlet, and i didn't want to use a small ass intake pipe

I got a couple autox events coming up this year, and im going to try to get into something like NASA or Scca (i think its called)...We have a local road course here where you can rent the track for 3 hours for $149 so my buddy Joe and I are gonna put her on the track to see what we need to improve on before next year.

why do that olindo.. dont waste the time and money on that... u could make the car alot faster by sticking with just a turbo set up.. Olindo is currently working to pick up a slightly larger turbo as unfortunately his current turbo flatlined when we added more boost, which basically means the turbo will not make any more power. We need to go to something with a .63 AR exhaust side and at least a 57 trim compressor wheel to make the power we are looking for. Fun parts of modification with "cheap" parts you never really know if the specs the claim are the specs you really receive.
