I know a guy who did his engine cover but I think he clear coated over it and has been running it on his car for awhile now with no problems the ink heald up fine.

One has a crack on the inside and slowly leaks air. Every couple weeks it'll be flat. When I pulled it back off to check for a nail or whatever I found the crack.
