Hey fellow Sciko's!

I've been working on numerous projects for my tC and one of them is a custom mounted in-dash nav. I'll be keeping the stock HU for now, this nav will go elsewhere. I was wondering if you guys could help me with finding what is on the market.

Should you find anything, please post either a link or a picture, or both in this forum.

Where do you plan on putting it if you're keeping your stock HU?

i guess you could get a tom tom or something like that. i have my nav behind my door with a 6.5" touchscreen avic d2.

Glad that you asked. I wasn't able to find a picture of exactly what I wanted, then I came accross a photo that should explain my idea visually very well. After much research...:google: ...I found this:

I'm at a bit of a loss though on how to go about it because the central vents run right under the dash. Perhaps have it add onto the dash, you know custom fitted.

Oh, how big is the screen on the Kenwood P6019?

Ah! Thats a pretty good size. I'm trying to get something about the same size as the opening where the HU is so it all flows nicely.

I know a lot of Sciko's have Nav's, especially those who have replaced their HU's in their tC's with one. Post some pix guys and gals!

they may need to relocate your vents. one of our guys had a 15" monitor on his xB and had to do a lot of custom re-routing for the AC, but it look awesome. good luck bro, if you get it, it will look bad ass!

Instead of getting a nav headunit...

Get a carputer put a screen up there that pops up.... Smaller hole and easier to do to the dash..

easy it's just to get kenwood ddx 6019 :) perfectly fit ))
