My Custom Fiberglass Dash....

Some of you know that i've been doing a few things to my B. I think only 2 of you have seen pics, so i'm posting up for all to see. The dash is at the paint shop right now, and i should get it back pretty soon so i can get the air brush work done!

Don't ask what spkrs i'm putting in it.. i won't tell you =) but the outsides are 8" and the insides holes are for 6.5"

i'm still trying to figure out where i'm going to put the fuel light, so i know when i need to refill, but other than that, i don't care about the speedo, tach, and all that junk.

I want to redo the hatch too before show season starts too, but i haven't even started that project. I should be in the garage working on that, but i'm here at the computer looking for shit for my TC..lmao.

Sounds...good but I have a new surprise too.....we are going to use a different turbo too....a newer model!!! So we will let the surprises happen on both ends!!! Cant wait to see your car when its done man, and the box is sick as hell.....as always!!!

I'm looking to do something similar, but mine is going to incorporate some a/v things and maybe my laptop. Mad props, great step-by-step pics, now I might venture off and do this thing one weekend, looks fun :)

not really tricks, just experience. I thought about throwing some screens in the mix, but decided against it. I wanted a certain flow, and a screen or two would have thrown it off. The funny thing is... this all started in my head. I wasn't even planning on doing a custome dash, but 2 days later, i was out cutting the shit out of it, and glassing the shape i had in my head. Took me 2 days working on it after my job to do the glass work. The paint guy is soooo pissing me off... its been over a month and he still doesn't have it done! I'm not to happy with him right now!
On a good note tho... my g/f's car went into the paint shop yesterday! Its goon be one of the hottest chick driven TC's!

thats one thing i dont like abouot painters they can be good or suck but if you push them to hard to finish they wont care as much about the quality

I have a lot of things in mind, but haven't had a chance to test them yet. If I get some spair parts I'll try it on them first. That way if I mess up, it wasn't my only thing! Here's to modding!!!
