First I want to give a huge Thank You to Vaughn, Robert and Dusty from the OKC chapter for helping me do this. I can guarantee it would not have gotten done without you there. And to the all the Tulsa peeps that said they were going show up yesterday.....um, ya.
Here's the pics:

The difference is insane! That is about 150 ft of eDead from Elemental Designs. When you knock on the doors its like knocking on wood now. :coolp:
I still have to do the rear hatch because I just really didn't want to rip out all my cathodes and wiring but now that ir where the only noise is coming from so it will have to be done.

Holy sh*t. Is it all back together yet?
FrankenScion
01-08-2007, 08:30 AM
Yes it's all back together, we drove it last night! :D
I think we spent a total of 7 hours doing it, we lowered a tC and played some video games yesterday too.......lol.
Oh, and the doors have 2 layers on the outer skin and one layer on the inner skin just because Scion doors suck so bad. And we double layered the rear area because of the system that is going in.
My interior hasn't been this clean in a looooong time.......lol

Was kinda hard work but I really had a great time! Love hangin with my Scikotic peeps! That edead is money well spent in my books after hearing the difference that it makes! My front doors are already dynamatted but that doesnt compare to what doing the whole car does for noise!:wohow:

The only issues we had putting it back together were the holes where the back seat mounts got covered up.....lol. But it was an easy fix, so it's all good. I'm getting ready to go do the hacth now.

That shit was insane. I hate driving mine now after hearing what that stuff does for your car. You don't realize how much road noise you get until you ride in a car that has been done like that.

I recommend sound deadening and quieter tires to everyone who wants an quieter box. I might get crazy enough to remove the front fender and rhinoline them.

I did the hatch tonight, it was definitely the hardest area yet to do because of the the tight fit. Luckily my 12 yr old offered to help so he did the the parts that were really hard to reach.
