Asylum Thanks!!!!

Thanks to everyone that helped make Asylum as kick ass as it was this year! Tulsa, you guys went above and beyond!! I thank you for all the hard work... it really paid off.

As always it was great meeting new people and catchin up with old friends... After a nap I'm ready for more. Can't wait til next year!

ASYLUM WAS AWESOME!!! Thanks to everyone that put on the show... You guys did a kickA$$ job!!! I really enjoyed getting to put names to the faces of the people that I talk to all the time. As for the contestants, I think every ride was trophy-worthy.

Nathan ( my 9 year old son ) thoroughly enjoyed his time with everybody. I want to thank whoever taught him how to "tap a keg" and "float a keg":rofl2:...he was so excited to tell my wife that he knew what that was and now is convinced that after high school, he has a career in bartending. He was also excited to tell her about the red-haired scikotic parking lot streaker!!! ( I will let you guys hear about that in another thread ) Thank you to everyone that signed his hat...he wants to put it in a display case like it is an autographed super bowl football.

Now that I am over 1,000 miles away, I can safely announce that the Beaumont Chapter does have photos and footage of the "Big Siberian" AKA Fogbox and his first kegstand ( Thank you to the 4 bodybuilders that held up his legs )

Thank you again to everybody for everything and we will most definitely be there again next year!!! Good Times!!!

What's up yall!! Man I don't know what to say... I had an amazing time at Asylum. I am not a member of the Scikotics but I followed some friends down from the local chapter here in St. Louis. Everyone was so cool and I met a whole bunch of people who made me feel proud to be a Scion owner. Everyone was just so chill and cool it really made me feel welcome. I was a little aprihensive at first thinking I would be treated like the outsider but that was definitely not the case. Big ups to my new friends from Cali and Texas for sure and those crazy dudes from Louisiana, YO! You guys were great!

BTW, I am in a car club already called Total-n-Tensity. Well... I was :smile:

Thanks You Tulsa Chapter for the AWESOME experience!!! I had a blast partying with everyone and finally meeting faces of cars I've been admiring in the days before Asylum! Louisiana peeps are crazy and it was cool partying with ya'll. Jacksonville was tight too! Errrrrrrrrrrrbody was gravy!!! I still haven't got my voice back! Quite honestly, I didn't know how you guys were going to beat last year, since that was my first Asylum and it was also very well planned - Jyl and the Tulsa crew had done a fantastic job!

But guys, wow, you really nailed it again this year! The Pre-Party was AWESOME! That was soooooo sweet having all of our rides lined up. The location of the show was fantastic!!! It was really nice to have it a lot closer to the hotel this year. The prizes rocked (though I think next year you SERIOUSLY need to limit the # of tickets the Des Moines chapter can buy.... thanks to Tony and Taylor :roll:) But yeah, everything was done very well.

Congrats on yet another successful Asylum show/family reunion!!!

Nope, we upped it this year, we only had ground units 2x, but this year we were special enough to get air support! We had a chopper circling the hotel for about 30mins!! It was awesome!!

This being my third year in attendance I can vouch for the fact that these keep getting better and better. Not sure how in the hell we were allowed back this year, and I will be even more shocked if we are welcomed in 2010. Nevertheless, everyone who helped make this weekend possible deserves a pat on the back. You guys are all amazing!

You know... I was very impressed by how well everyone worked at trying to be good guests and neighbors. There were very few noise complaints, and as soon as the word was passed along, everyone was very gracious and responsive! Amazing, considering the number of folks, the amounts of alcohol being consumed, never have I seen such a wonderful response from any group, let alone one this big! Scikos ROCK!

I just wanted to post this up: I talked to DjBigJ today who is a member of another club here in St Louis. He was the one with the turn tables in the back of his B....go figure LOL. He was very impressed with the club as a whole and totally got the fact that we're a natiowide family. Like he posted earlier he felt he was part of something special rather than an outsider. I just wanted to give props to the Tulsa chapter and the whole damn club for making everyone feel welcome in our club. Now thats what being a Sciko means. And dammit I'm proud to be a Sciko!!

Wow.......what else can I say other than that. While we were on the road to Tulsa from Nor Cal Westbay I really did not know what to expect but this event really wowed us all in Westbay that attended. We all had a blast and are already making plans for 2010 and we can't wait to see what else you might have in store for us. Thank you so much to all who made this a fantastic event and Westbay will see you again next year.

I for one a first timer. I loved it!! I already plan to show up next year. I thank Tulsa Chapter for setting this up and I do thank Amber of Fayettnam NC for the room to crash at and all the other peeps for making it the best show i been to ever. Sucks that my NIA eyelids show up the day of the show at home lol. I would like to say if DjBigJ joins up.. I give him props for it then. He does have a clean ride and I can tell he plans to do more with his audio to completely blow people away with the music he jams out. That way he doesnt have to connect up to Benji' from Funkytown chapter's xb to pump it up. Go for it DjBigJ.. You know you want too! lol
