Interior vinyl dash kit, tips? tricks?

I got an interior vinyl dash kit for christmas this year. I am looking forward to installing it, but before I just run out there and apply the stickers, I wanted to check with my fellow scikotics that might have some experience with this. Anyone have some advice, suggestions, tips, tricks?

i know the set i got, wasnt all that... and whats worse, i think it was the best set you could get... on the xb's, they dont cover all the silver... i'm going to tear mine out, and repaint... the way installed mine, i treated it like i was going to paint it, washed it really good, taped it up, applied adhesive promoter to it, then put the kit on... i have only done the center piece so for... kinda glad, since i am planning on changing the color and just going to paint... just make sure you take your time, dont rush it, and follow the instructions... i have seen some that were installed and looked like utter crap, and i have seen some where you can tell they spent some time on it and it came out nice...

Jboo STL's HMFIC he just did that on his tC turned out nice and it only took him a little while like 1 hour to do......PM him if you have any questions!
