Awww crud need some opinions pls

Ok all I have an 06 white scion with the stock black interior. My original plan was to do pink on the car as well(so far engine cover, petals.) because i like pink black and white together... So if i was to still do pink the interior seats would be pink and black and the lights behind the gages would be pink, the decal on the outside of my car going along the length of it would be pink, and if i can find these rota gt3's someone said were floating aorund in pink i would get those as well. However now im getting very discouraged because im not finding much in the way of pink and am now wondering if it would look weird. If im going to change it now would be the time since I do not have much done... what do ya'll think ? I mean i wanted a visably girl car but now im wondering if all the time and money trying ot find the things i need is worth it.

if you are down about the rims i wouldn't be ... just get them powder coated as for everything else im sure out of the scikotics group we can point you in the right direction for the other goods! :)

Don't get discouraged you can do this we are behind you. Pink and white would look hawt. I would do pink on my white xA. There was a silver xA in the OKC chapter that had some pink vinyl on it with black and it looked good :up:

We flipped her car in a week. Since you have more time you will probably do a better job. Total prices was 1200.00 for all including wheels and tires.

Since you are trying to be way different alot of it your gonna have to one off yourself but take your time and feel free to ask us. Baby step focusing on one area at a time till your satisfied (engine since you started there then, interior, then exterior....etc.) Don't look at the whole picture and feel you have to get it done all at once will cause you to burnout and quit trust me I have done both (with the car above in the link). Being stock is a blessing at times. Don't be discourage I can already imagine how hot that is gonna be. Plus you have skillz with a paint can. You should see my lastest creation for the 2007 show season :oops:

Now you want pink rota gt3's and I am looking for red rota ds2's if you can't find the pink wheels that jimmy mentioned just pm him (dfwaltima) he a reliable and helpful source I have nothing but respect for him as a person :bow: . If I come across them I will send the link your way :D . You could always just pic up a cheap set of fliks http://www.edgeracing.com/wheels/flik/
and have them powdercoated. Again someone in your chapter can help you :up:

To do the pink interior you have many choices in local interior shops your MFIC might have the hook up. One place you can call is Katskin and check but I wouldn't worry about the seats.

To do pink leds I dunno but you could get a new guage face for only 30 bucks from chadfo on scionlife

You can pretty much create what your heart desires on this one plus it is a cheap mod :up:

Other suggestions pink cathodes/leds you can get them at oznium.com
Lastly you might wanna consider some vinyl for the car in pink or get your scikotics vinyl done in pink.

Anything else in particular I am just gonna have to look up for ya :up:

the thing thats really killing me is the vinyl. I dont know where i would even go to find someone who could do it... if i bought it online my fear is i would put it on crooked... lol im such a dork i know, unfortunately this car stuff doesnt come natural to me like it does hubby... I've contacted to scikotics decal guy for me.. but i assume he's really busy cause i cant really get ahold of him to order.

See if there is a vinyl guy locally .... all though the guy scikotics has is good we all (DFW area) go local since we run into the same problem putting it on :oops:

What did you think about the guages from chadfo...

As to your led conversions I am searching I know of some people but personally I would only trust them as far as I can see them so I am not gonna recommend them to you (don't wanna see you get screwed). There has gotta be somebody out there who does this kind of work.

If you don't have or haven't bought one you also might wanna pick up an exhaust from strup (one of our sponsors). This one you will have to get dirty but if my wife can put on her own exhaust I am sure you can too (she 5' 1" ). Just use alot of WD40 megan went through a whole can heheheh.

Hopefully you can attend an install day in your area that is how I actually got my car lowered. Jon and the guys from tulsa and OKC started me on this slippery slope know as modding :lol:

Local vinyl guy is Bill from "a cut above". I think his screenname is Graphx here, but you can PM Chefbamm since they hangout. Bill will be designing my graphix (disco ball and stars theme) and he can do any color you want! Hit him up, his number is on the norcal decal prices thread. I'm sure he can ship to you as well, but he can design something for you as he has his own plotter thing.

well I am pretty sure seat cover factory could do custom pink my gut feelings on this pink is fine for a girl car but keep it true to it's japanese roots. Don't put to much pink on the outside of the car. pedals seat covers interior lighting from oznium maybe I think pink wheels would be overkill personally and if your going pink and you really intend on pulling it off you better pack a punch in the handling brakeing and power area. I say either do it all the way or stay away from pink because people are just going to laugh. If you do go with pink get the power setup so you can smoke the laughing people and gain respect in your local car scene. vinyl is cheap and find a good sighn shop they can cut almost any logo you want we did a ghost rider theme on my XA the exterior in vinyl and then I had the dash and doors airbrushed with old ghostrider comic images. I say follow your gut pink is a controversial color some people are gonna love it some people are gonna hate it but bottom line if you have the performance people will respect it thats my take on it.
