View Full Version : Springs
Not sure if this has been covered, but I was wondering if anyone has put NF 210 springs on the front and DF210 springs on rear. Front drop would be 1.0in and the rear would be 2.1in. Thoughts?

i haven't put lowering springs on yet, but if you do it i'd like to know how it works and looks, sounds like it might be sweet!

they have different spring rates, don't they? wouldn't performance be sketchy?

Yes, the spring rates are different for both of them. May I ask why you'd want to do that?
I just want the front and rear at the same height, but I am just gonna leave alone for the time being....i am goign to save up either coil overs or eventually bags.

im gunna say the manufacturers take the height difference between the front and rear in affect when they make the springs...right?

i'm pretty sure they do. they take the front-heavy weight of the engine and factor that into the front springs and find a way to compensate to make the rear even for the rear springs. if you want that perfect leveling-off look, i think getting struts to match the lowering springs would help a lot, wouldn't it?

Correct. When figuring out the spring height drop, it levels off the vehicle already. It you went with the 2, the front would be higher then the rear.
Here's mine on DF210's.
