There are plenty of armrests out there but three models of armrest that I know a majority of people I have met are using for the xA and I will include them in my pm or post to you about site to visit as promised.

They are the Toyota one you can pickup at dealerships or online

now to answer your question it is a love it or hate it topic. The best solution I can give you is at the next scion meet in your area if you attend ask someone with a armrest if they don't mind you sitting in the front seat so you can see if you would like it or not.

Installing it yourself is easier than painting your engine cover :up:

Doesn't it just sit in the back cup holder?? At least I thought the toyota one did...

Yeah the arm rest sits in the rear cup holder and has a clip that holds it in place. it's also the same one that fits in the xB.
