:wave: Hello everyone, my name is Henry, i had the opportunity to meet greeat members of Scikotics in MIAMI the month of Dec. and after been out of the scene for several years, I desided to be part of what i consider to be a great organization (SCIOKOTICS):bow: . what a name...!!:doc: . well here in Los Angeles i will be part of the great JOB all Sciko members do. Is in the horizon to expand Sciokotics to the Los Angeles County:thx: I hope that with the hepl of all of you guys we can make this happen...:trophy:

Great news! Hang on for the ride down there. My guess is you'll be one of the biggest growing chapters in the nation.
The love and support you guys have flowing from the north, and the surrounding area, along with tons of Scion people, and some looking to save $40.00 a year. :lol:

I hope you can manage to pull together some people down there so our family can get even larger! I've made the trip down to L.A. quite a few times, half flights, half driving. So if I start to get weekends off ever, then maybe some of my chapter can make a drive down there to show our support for your meets!

As Brook has said, us NorCal will throw over for support whenever you need it. I'm planning to come down in the summer and maybe we could hook up with Kern county and do a meet! Excellent choice with this family!

I've been working on the to be LA chapter consulting RSone and Shawn. I have a rough flyer already constructed and both Kern County and AV chapters are standing by for word from someone to get the ball rolling on this. I have no doubt that a new chapter in LA will boom so fast it may catch up to NorCal rather quickly.

So, if anyone from the LA chapter (to be) can get in contact with me, all three chapters north of you have got your back!:up:

I have a rough flyer already put together for you guys. I just need to know where you are meeting so I can customize it for you. Toyota dealers are really good at being sponsors for Scikotics chapters. Just let me know what you need. The easiest thing is to post flyers everywhere stating a meeting place and time, then show up and recruit the new members!

Hey, its all good. I just saw your aviator and assumed you had an xA. For now, you need to find a place you'd like to meet. Since you are the only one currently, I suppose this makes you the Pres of LA chapter. So, once you find a location, let me know the information, etc. and what ideas you'd like in a flyer.

I believe someone said he had some things to attend to but will be back. Anyways, like Jeff of AV chapter said, we're here for you with whatever you need!

I'll be in the Hollywood area this Thursday (Doing some business at UCLA @ 11:30 and 1:20) so if you're not doing anything, I have an hour or so to kill before I have to head back northward that we can cruz on over to Santa Monica or something. Let me know though. PM me if you need to get ahold of me.

Ask Jon for some business cards for scikotics... start putting them on every scion that you see... The chapter will start its self

Pretty much. If you're going to go that route, I suggest you write on the back the meeting location and time so people know where to go, or your digits.

I never got a reply from the Hollywood guy, so I didn't see you yesterday when I was in the area.

awwww man i haven't been much around here... hey thanks everyone for the support...Sorry aj2k3 for not posting up as of late i had kind of a situation here but its all fixed...ANyways about the flyer let me see.... something like having the Xa,Xb and new Xb, Xd and tC... but for the lettering not sure what to put either.. maybe some kind of a invite for the Scion owner to inform them that there is a chapter coming up here in los angeles.. i know you guys have some great ideas!

yeah that flyer looks great... but you do have a point whereas it mights need the new xB xD...! i mean there are a grand amount of people around me with scions so i guess i just want to bring eveyone a lil closer...

Now when you say bring everyone a little closer, you mean by making the club or by including the new xB and xD in the flyer?

I can customize it anyway you want, just tell me what you like. Plus I'll need the location as well as your Toyota sponsor. (However, the sponsor can be added later and then you can just print out new flyers).

it may take awhile to get a sponsor... but i have a bud that works at a dealer so i'll try and see if i can make favor with our plan and be a sponsor... and yeah i was speaking about the new scions, i know for sure there would be happy to see support from other fellow scions.... :coolp: and what happened to rsone?

you can't read my posts Tim? My profile is set to white so thats why the come out that way, plus it was easier to read on a black background.

Oliver, I'll get to work on the flyer for you and should have a rough draft by weeks end. There is a thread towards the top of the forums with a sample letter to present to a dealership for sponsorship http://www.scikotics.com/vb/showthread.php?t=4234. If you can schedule it right, Kern County and AV chapters should be able to come down to the dealership with you for support. (Saturday would probibly be best and before noon or around noon).

The last I heard from RSone, he had some business to take care of and would be back when he could. If you wish, keep him in mind when deciding who holds what office in the chapter.

Well, I do not know what happened to the original guy that was supposed to start the chapter, I sent him cards and everything, but he is not responding to PM's anymore.

But, I would love for someone else to start a chapter there.

Yaeh, I'm working with Oliver on getting something set up. He's off and on so I still have to hear from him. The guy who was supposed to start the chapter, I just don't know where he went. I'm sure he'll return when what he has to do is done.

Anyways, at this point we shouldn't worry about dealership sponsorship. Instead I need design ideas for the flyer so it can be made and distributed so at least the chapter is created. I believe you'll need 4 members to start a chapter and so far we have two or three.

You know I would love to, but I honestly don't think I have the time required. I work a lot and have a 7 year old at home. If I can find a way to get some free time I can try and see if it would work out but I honestly work a lot. M-F 12 noon to 9pm and Sat 8am to 5pm.

I am just wondering if there is anyone out there in the so-cal beach cities area like huntington and long beach etc... that wants to get a chapter going? I would try and do it but I really don't have the time that would be required to get it going the way it needs to be. I would however like to be a member and help out as much as I can with my limited amount of time. I work way too much selling scion in long beach. I live in long beach. I also have a beautiful girlfriend and take care of my bro. and that takes up a lot of my time. If anyone steps up it would be insane to have our own chapter of this awesome community. Thanks
