These turned out really good. I got them from a 'Figure LLC' on Ebay. These things are high quality and if you're not careful, they'll slice you pretty good lawl.

Not a bad way to burn $100

I had them overlayed by a guy on the east coast. He's a regular at yoursciontc.com's forums, goes by The Overlay Guy. He does very very good work. The way he did mine the price came to $150. It's more of a wrap than an overlay though. He wraps the film around the edges about 1/4 inch and uses several layers. Absolutely quality job.

I've been thinking about those same grilles powdercoated black for my SSM... but still just "thinking" about it.

Black grills look way hot on silver cars!

love the grill dude.

I forgot. Did you say it came shaped or that you cut it?

And where's the guy located that did your overlays? (his shop or whatever)

Head over to yoursciontc.com and toss a PM to The Overlay Guy. He's the one that did the overlays. Absolute quality work. Located over on the east coast. What I did is ordered the lights from trdsparks and had them shipped to him. He did the overlays and shipped them to me. Cost is $150, less if you ship your old lights I think. Well worth it. He wraps the film around to the back of the assembly so it's sealed inside the body of the car. Definitly recommend this guy if you want smoked tails. He does oem tails as well.

He can do OEM lights and has a system set up where you buy the smoked lights + a deposit and he sends you the lights...you install them and then ship your old ones back. :p

The grilles are from FigureLLC on Ebay. I paid $100 even, and paid the extra $20 for expedited shipping. Powdercoat is another 30, i think. Don't quote me on that though.

I'd change my grille, but I have the fog lights and don't want to lose them :(

How is fit and finish?

The fit is good. Since it's aluminum, it's fairly pliable before you get it in and tied down, so if you want to adjust the molding before you install it you can. I don't know the quality of the powdercoat since I didn't order than one :p

Even without adjusting the bends, it fits like it's the last piece of a puzzle. The edges of the thing are sharp though, so you gotta be careful getting it into the spot so you don't scratch the bumper or slice your fingers. The holes you need to drill are far enough back into the bumper that if you want to put the stock grille back on, you won't see them.
