Looks interesting!
I like it.
I thought of using some material from when we were cleaning out the old office . . .
But was concerned that the material simply wasn't porous enough for good airflow (to allow air to the radiator) . . .
I'll keep my painted "Sparks Slat" grill.
How is the mesh for your's?
Of porous enough, that provides some INTERESTING possibilities!
Can it be quickly changed out for another?
If so, you can make "seasonal" grills . . . (Themed).

yea it still provides good airflow, and its attached with rivets so i could remove it in about 3 minutes, only loss is a few rivets... which are cheap
i will be working on the lower grill and side scoops tonight ill post more pics when im done

Idea:
The Sparks Slat grill is attached by L-brackets with those slide-on screw retainers.
You could mount those and use small screws to make them instantly interchangeable.
I might to that, as a matter of course . . .
But, I need to figure out how to make the alternate grills bent to the correct curve and edged along the cut surfaces, to prevent scratching.
(I'm now thinking of free-standing grills.
Oh, if you do, you MUST take one of the plastic pop-tabs and use it in the front of that plastic radiator/grill opening cover.
There is a correct size hole in a tab. You just need grill/cut a small hole above it. The use the pop-top retaining tab-thingie to anchor the cover. This is just to the passenger-side of the hood release.
Otherwise, there is the potential of pressure pushing it up and moving the hood release . . .
You would like to SEE when driving at speed, correct?
(When I take picts of the interior panel, I'll get shots of what I'm talking about.)

OK.
The factory grill would make a good framework.

Looks great. I am a firm believer in building parts, the true meaning of the word "custom" is what makes your car one of a kind.

We should get along GREAT!
I have already altered most of the aftermarket parts added to my box, plus a few stock ones. The only ones left alone are straight performance related.
I'd paint them black. Would hide some of the imperfections too...

Royal Blue
Light Blue
Lime Green

Bronze would do it. Detail the interior with bronze on black would pull it together too. Be careful, bronze goes alot further than chrome to the eye. A little goes a long way.

It takes "about a house" . . .
How is that?
Or, do you mean an hour to make and mount all four . . .

Interesting. Ive never made parts for a car so I would really have no idea where to start or what to do.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

all i did was remove all my factory grills and basically overlayed the mesh on them and secured with rivets...
its probably not the best way to do it but it worked and looks great!
