Let's get some nominations for some cool May Scikos!

Here is the general line-up for SOTM:

* 1st of the month -to- the 23rd - is for nominations...no comments or voting or seconds or whatever. Then I close this thread. Only 5 of the nominations will be carried over to be voted on. This is determined by the nominations that followed the posting rules (in the thread) and a few other factors.
* 23rd of the month -to- the 1st - is for voting in the poll and friendly comments within the new vote thread. Then, I close this thread and I add the winners to the front page of Scikotics and make a new congratulations thread for everyone to post in as well. The congratulations thread is the only one that is never closed for each month.

And the winner can not be nominated again for 12 months. But can be nominated over and over again until winning. And they can run for SOTM, if they won SROTM, within 12 months or vice versa. Winning one does not disqualify you for the other.

Since we are Your Friendly Neighborhood Scion Club, lets have fun while we enjoy a little friendly competition!

SOTM:

* You can nominate yourself.
* They must be a registered Scikotics member.
* No member can win more than once in any twelve month period.
* Include a photo, real name & screen name and their chapter.
* Post a couple of sentences or a mini-story as to why you think you or he or she should be the Scikotics of the Month.

Note: The final 5 members will be picked after a fair and impartial process according to the entries presented.

Note: If you do not follow these basic rules, your nomination could be bumped.

Note: This thread is for nominations only and once someone is nominated, they do not have to be nominated again. All comments and chit-chat will be deleted. Please save it all for the vote and congratulations threads.

Third times a charm

Thelmalyn a.k.a. ibeDAMD, HMFIC of Baton Rouge

She's a great friend to many, always goes out of her way for just about anything or anyone. As H of the Baton Rouge chapter, she's always motivating everyone to get out and do stuff besides just hanging out in the parking lot. Always getting involved with just about everything there is to better the club and not just herself.

And since she didn't think her pics were "hard core" enough, here's proof of her in action!

I'd like to nominate Exposure101, Tyler, from NoVa.

Although he can't sign on to the site as often as he likes because of his job, he is always willing to lend a helping hand to any Sciko that may need one, be it for system installs or lighting, or anything else. He also got NoVa's website up and running and is the webmaster. He is leaving us, though, for about 2 years for military duty overseas. I thought it appropriate to nominate him as a wonderful way to say "Thanks for everything you've done, and see you when you get back! We'll still be here waiting for you!"

I would like to nominate one of our Funkytown CPR's Vince (Clubsprint). He is the one in our Chapter who is always ready to help. "Install day" is any day, and some evenings, at his house. All the members ask him the tough questions. He'll go with you to buy parts and help you pick out what you need then go back to his place and he'll install it for you. He has probably saved us all thousands of dollars in labor and parts. It really doesn't matter to him what you need or when you need it, if he can fix it, he'll do it. He's even been known to help a friend, spouse, or other person related to a Scikotic.

He's also a good friend to all of us. We can talk with him about problems, personal or Chapter-related, and he'll listen. He'll try to help if he can, but he does always listen. It's great knowing there is someone that will be there for you when you need them.

He supports our Chapter 100% by being at the meets and at the shows. He takes pride in his Scion and in helping all of us make ours the best it can be. He has that great Scikotics twisted sense of humor and exhibits it at any and all occasions.

With all this in mind, I'd like to nominate Vince for Scikotic of the Month because he is.

Oh, and in the picture, he's the one with the cap and sunglasses.

Chris has done alot for the chapter alredy in his few months of being HMFIC of Atlanta. Helping put on the show with Boxzilla, Bridezilla and Boxychic at Sanitarium!!! Helping us all on mod day, getting dirty and helping install and swap parts when the help is needed. Being the middle man for product supply! Volunteering his own family to provide services to the club!! Most importantly he keeps the moral of the club high and strong here in Atlanta!!! Our numbers are growing and Chris is doing well. Meeting with other Scion owners and clubs to bring together the One Love goal. Thanks Chris for being our HMFIC!!!

I would like to nominate Nathan Wong (azndragon669) from the Westbay chapter to be SOTM. At my first meet, he offered me to join him at his home to work on our Scions. I barely knew him an hour and he was already welcoming his home to me. Now, it has become a ritual for some of us Westbay Scikos to head to Nathan's home every week to work on cars or to just hang out and load up on cookies and cupcakes. He has introduced us to local shops, brought us to events we normally would not have known about, and is so deserving of recognition. Thank you Nathan for putting so much into Westbay.
