Hey guys im using the Isimple interface for my Ipod but it cant display over the OEL screen of the Premium HU..what other choice do i have to make it work over the radio.by means of other cables or interfaces..Im gonna sell this one and im using a older ipod photo...let me know

You mean as in what kind of interface do you get with a new headunit, or using the current setup?

Not sure exactly what you are asking... I have the NAv system on the xD and you get full control of the iPod on the screen on the Nav system. But as soon as you put it in drive it locks the controls for safety reasons. I overrode that feature on mine...

If you're using the iPod capable headunit, it should have come with the iPod interface for display/controls/charging. If not, you can buy it.

Yes the HU has the function but i need either a cable or a interface...the premuim HU is from the 08 i have a 05 with no cables....Understand now?? I dont know what more to say

so then i need a cable that plugs into the ipod then into the stock radio...does that make sence??..But i though i seen that u need a certian part number for that cable to work with on screen fuction

You need the scion pioneer ipod cable, one cable goes from the back of the hu to an open end, and then the other goes from the open end to the ipod

~$60 is just for one of the cables. you need 2 different ones and last i seen they are both about the same price or something like that. the cable pictured is just the one that would connect from the ipod to the plug that they put in the armrest. you would also need the cable that goes from the back of the radio to that plug pictured on TRDsparks for $56.97

glad you found that part number.... i dont think im going to need it but incase i do now i know which one i need to get... im waiting on my premium headunit to come in that i just bought from lucifer

theres a cable that goes from the back of the head unit to the armrest (thats where they put it stock in the tC)
and another cable that plugs into that one in the arm rest and into the iPod dock connector (thats whats pictured in the TRD sparks page) that cable is like 6" long, that wouldn't fit from the head unit to the arm rest alone, and that one alone is about the ~$56 from what i have seen before.

a friend of mine that works at the dealership was gonna put the iPod HU and cables into his 05 tC but changed his mind cause he didnt want to spend ~100 just to get the right cables when he was looking them up.

ah ok..well my buddys gonna let me get his ipod plug and the 6 ft cable off his since he is using a DD HU with Ipod so im still in the clear!!

cool, good luck, they bundle that cable good with the stock wiring.
