i dont know who got mild, but wild went to a molded widebody tC. Orange, vertical doors, carbon hatch, carbon hood, eclipse HU, and a basic subwoofer setup in a square mdf box. nothing too flashy, but hey, whatever works (i personally think ivan's and steve's trucks were better, but im not a judge...)

my car sure looked purdy though!

Did the tC that won have many performance parts? HIN leans heavily towards performance. There was a B in the middle with turbo and full fiberglass sustem that I thought had a chance just because of the turbo, and it was cool looking.

Do you remember the Orange tC with the Lambo doors that that a TOTAL stock interior? He won best Scion... -.- I can point out all the imperfections that should not have let him win.. but oh well I guess they didn't pay enough attention to Ivans box. But he lives here so we'll show him up later on.

the box your thinking of was 2tonelocksmith's xb. i've seen it a couple of times before (exposed miami, hin orlando, nopi atl, etc etc) and its a very nice box overall. steve @ scionpro has a nice box too. of course ivan's new setup is nice :P

the tC that won best wild scion lets see... (i got to talk w/ the owner for a good while)

molded widebody w/ custom sidevents cut into the rear quarter panels behind the doors.
shaved handles
custom orange color
custom gas lid (very crappy job molding the stock lid though, a well defined circle showed where the original lid was)
vertical doors
carbon hood
carbon hatch
wheels
eclipse indash screen
basic system (2 10's in a prefab ported box)

and thats it.

no performance mods, no suspension mods (not even springs!), no interior mods, etc etc

i was disappointed with the outcome, but hey, you win some/lose some right?

Yeah that tC had a crappy paint job. Locksmith xB definetly is a showstopper altough I don't know how I never saw it at the show. LOL
And Ivan's xB.... OMG!! How he didn't win baffles me.
I heard Mild went to the blue and black xB

locksmith was in teh center in the 02 booth. i didnt find zach's box, but hey, i can see it whenever seeing as we're all from orlando :)

if the blue/black xB won mild scion, that means he swept the HIN florida events. he won best mild scion @ HIN orlando in july

Zach's xb was th first thing you saw if you came in thru the regular entrance like all us cool people. :c8l:

Yes that and they want custom fabricated one off items. Off the shelf parts are not a big deal so if you spend 10g on everyday parts & someone builds a body guess who wins :)

If you want to win shows get a hold of the NCCA rulebook for 07 and use that to get as many points as possible. They lay out the criteria for what gets points & what does not. You have to build to the plans :)
