Buy the mounting plate at autozone for like $5, use 3M Double Sided Tape adhesive to tape the back of it to your clean front bumper, just use soap and water to remove, alcohol for removing the last bit of glue..

Mount off the bottom of the Airdam. Utilize the stock screws used for the plastic underside.

Love to do that but the car is in the bodyshop getting finished.... Basically, its just mounting L-brackets under the front airdam and attaching the license plate using the bottom holes. Make sure to use a license plate frame for strength.

I've seen it in person. It's not that bad.

On a side note, I just realized who's car that is lol. I have that hood on my car now.

Yeah I wish I told them not to do that when I ordered the car.

Hmm... i've been pulled over twice but they never said anything about not having a front plate. Maybe i'm just lucky?

Yeah i dont have mine either and ive gotten 2 tickets so far cuz of it. All i do is take a picture of my car with the plates on and take it to court and they dismiss it!

Yeah, I hate the fact that it's manditory in Texas to have a front license plate. I don't know... I guess it's in case the police see someone speeding in reverse.

I thought of trying to incorporate a retractable front license plate but lost interest. I seen a few on youtube on other vehicles, but the tC would probably be more of a challenge than I'm willing to take.

Really it is so the cop can see the plates if your parked in backwards.. In cali ive seen some cop cars with cameras that read the tag electronically and they can run a whole lot in minutes... Its not required here in atlanta, and who would want to pay for an extra? stupid.. lol...

Don't they give you two in Atlanta? I thought that was Fed law.

the dealership drilled holes in my bumper, i talked with the sales manager and they replaced the bumper the next day. i just zip tie my plate on the lower grille until i can get a bracket for it.
