I know we talked about this a little bit at the Jacksonville show this past weekend, and I think I figured something out.

If the Orlando Crew rolls out at 7:30AM on Friday the 13th, we will reach Valdosta around 11:30AM. Jacksonville, Valdosta, Orlando, and anyone else that will be traveling that day, we could meet up at a restaurant or some place in Valdosta and then travel the rest of the way to the show.

Would that work for everyone? That would put us in ATL at the hotel between 3 and 4.

Need input from surrounding chapters!!

well Valdosta Toyota is like 3 min from the interstate so we can meet there..

but works with me... and Orlando Scikotics is leaving from Sciko House

I think most of us from Valdosta that is leaving Friday is on the Northside of town, so it might be better to meet at the rest area just above Adel. That way we are not having to head South to head North! LOL

One word of caution, from the Adel exit to just before Tifton, they are working on the roads. So there are placing where there are BUMPS! I just traveled this in my 65 Bus, which is lowered and some bumps are ok, but OTHERS BOTTOM ME OUT! And you will not see them until you get right up close! Just so you all know!

My hubby is off Friday, so we will be READY to roll, when you all come through.

They still didnt finish that stretch of highway... :Hein26:I remember last year when we were going to Asylum they were working on it, and then in Dec when I was going to NC the road was terrible.. (lower tc with 3 ppl inside and 3 suitcases had no chance with those bumps :( ) Thanks Kathy for heads up.

The rest area I-75 is at MM 41 or so, it is a big one too.
If you all stop at the dealership, we can just meet you all as you drive by exit 29 or just on the road. We all would have to go south, then only to turn around and go back north to do that.
Chris had mentioned the truck stop on exit 29(Hahira) which is also a good place.

As far as construction, it starts just after Adel, until just before Tifton. You can take 41 North, which will parellel it and then jump back on in Tifton. Although, there is a few more spots on up the road too. We all are just going to have to be super careful!

We have to take one son of ours to the school in Adel (exit 39) at 10:15am for a trip he is going on. They are out of school that day.

It would make more sense to just meet everyone at the rest stop, and then we can roll out from there.

as the time is concern 11:30 would be great time.. at that rest area 41.. Alyssa and I can leave Orlando at the latest 7:30 meet Luci on the I-75 and Turnpike around 8:20 or so and then we would make to the rest stop at like 11:30 or so... Plus we Orlando Folks gonna have to stop for gas around Exit 15 - 25 :/
