April SOTM Nominations

Start the nominations for April's most Scikotic Sciko! :)


Here is the general line-up for SOTM:

* 1st of the month -to- the 23rd - is for nominations...no comments or voting or seconds or whatever. Then I close this thread. Only 5 of the nominations will be carried over to be voted on. This is determined by the nominations that followed the posting rules (in the thread) and a few other factors.
* 23rd of the month -to- the 1st - is for voting in the poll and friendly comments within the new vote thread. Then, I close this thread and I add the winners to the front page of Scikotics and make a new congratulations thread for everyone to post in as well. The congratulations thread is the only one that is never closed for each month.

And the winner can not be nominated again for 12 months. But can be nominated over and over again until winning. And they can run for SOTM, if they won SROTM, within 12 months or vice versa. Winning one does not disqualify you for the other.

Since we are Your Friendly Neighborhood Scion Club, lets have fun while we enjoy a little friendly competition!


SOTM:

* You can nominate yourself.
* They must be a registered Scikotics member.
* No member can win more than once in any twelve month period.
* Include a photo, real name & screen name and their chapter.
* Post a couple of sentences or a mini-story as to why you think you or he or she should be the Scikotics of the Month.

Note: The final 5 members will be picked after a fair and impartial process according to the entries presented.

Note: If you do not follow these basic rules, your nomination could be bumped.

Note: This thread is for nominations only and once someone is nominated, they do not have to be nominated again. All comments and chit-chat will be deleted. Please save it all for the vote and congratulations threads.

She's a great friend to many, always goes out of her way for just about anything or anyone. As H of the Baton Rouge chapter, she's always motivating everyone to get out and do stuff besides just hanging out in the parking lot. Always getting involved with just about everything there is to better the club and not just herself.

One more time:

I would like to nominate one of our CPR's Vince (Clubsprint). He is the one in our Chapter who is always ready to help. "Install day" is any day, and some evenings, at his house. All the members ask him the tough questions. He'll go with you to buy parts and help you pick out what you need then go back to his place and he'll install it for you. He has probably saved us all thousands of dollars in labor and parts. It really doesn't matter to him what you need or when you need it, if he can fix it, he'll do it. He's even been known to help a friend, spouse, or other person related to a Scikotic.

He's also a good friend to all of us. We can talk with him about problems, personal or Chapter-related, and he'll listen. He'll try to help if he can, but he does always listen. It's great knowing there is someone that will be there for you when you need them.

He supports our Chapter 100% by being at the meets and at the shows. He takes pride in his Scion and in helping all of us make ours the best it can be. He has that great Scikotics twisted sense of humor and exhibits it at any and all occasions.

With all this in mind, I'd like to nominate Vince for Scikotic of the Month because he is.

Dear Scikotic of the Month committee and fellow scikotic members,

My name is Kenny/(whatmovesu) [Kenneth] and despite what that sign on date says next to my name I have been an off and on member from August 2005-present . I can remember a time before the creation of this website and the process of nominating scikotic (ride) of the month. I myself was awarded scikotic of the month and appreciate the support of friends both current and former I have made from this club and within the scion community. Being an active part of the DFW chapter is a full time job and unfortunate side effect of being part of one of the oldest and larger chapters in the club. The current roll call does not express the amount of scion owners in DFW with ties to scikotics and the scion culture.

With that said the associated problems with being a large group of people expressing our individualism within the DFW chapter requires a very positive, upbeat, optimist to see past any negativity to inspire participation and communication to not only the DFW metroplex (chapters include: DFW, Fort worth, and Red river) but the greater whole of the club…..the club you ALL belong to…..SCIKOTICS. Hence I am here today to nominate Monica Partida aka MCP as scikotic of the month for the month of april. My reason may not be as clear as others who have friends to thank for being there in a time of need or to thank for helping them with there ride. I am here as I have personally witnessed how Monica exemplifies what a SCIKOTIC in my mind should be all about. Scikotics strength lies in numbers and friends. Exclusivity and cliques only kills chapters. She shines a positive light on both increasing numbers of SCIKOTICS not just her chapter she doesn't care about that while maintaining friends she has made. Her ease of befriending her along with her enthusiasm for her scion makes her a great person to be around. Her effort in trying to create ideas of places to hang out with ALL people with a scion, irregardless if you are from her chapter DFW or a neighboring chapter such as Fort Worth or not even a official scikotic member at all, goes unrewarded time after time. She not only exlempfies what a scikotic is to me but what scikotic used to be back in my time which is why I get enthusiatic with her being a part of DFW:Vache04::Vache04::Vache04::Vache04::Vache04:

So to all that read this I encourage you to meet her (if you haven’t already )a t asylum and you will see what I am talking about. She is such a great person too bad we can’t clone her. Thank you for your time in reading this. Now with that being said lemme go flunk some students.

Well, if it wasn't for Scuba and those wild bunch of South Bend scikos, I would not have found my second home. This also goes for more than half of our members that make up the South Bend chapter. Steve started the South Bend chapter and though we are a small chapter, he keeps us tight with each other. There isn't anything he wouldn't do for one of us and that, which is a quality many HMFICs have, is the reason I and the South Bend chapter nominate Scubachef.

I nominate Sonny [Sabotagexb] because he is a dedicated sciko who has seldom missed a meet during my short participation with my chapter. We are proud to have him in our chapter (capital) and he recruited the only xA in our chapter. So kudos to you kid! And stay in school!
