yea i had seen that on www.scionevents.com .. its just a showcase from what i understand not really a carshow .. if im not mistaken from the flyer there will be only 1 winner whoever has the best looking scion overall ... correct me if im wrong but that what it sounded like from the flyer but i still would be up for this it sounds fun

Show was fun. Got 3 new recruits out of it.
Had a few people there. Talking with Glen at the dealership, they gonna put this on every year around Mardi Gras.
Also there was the Head of Scion over the South Eastern Region. He want's to get together with us to sponsor the NOLA chapter.
Also there was the head Scion guy that in USA that they flew in from Cali. So even though this wasn't really a big show, it still was. Would have been much nicer if more Sciko's would have went since some major Scion people were there and is interested in the club.

One thing that's really cool about this dealership is that every year they completely trick out a Scion. This year was an xD. Here's some pics. And that is real paint, not vinyl graphics. :up:

What's so special about these Scions is that they do NOT sell them. Instead, what they do is work with the high school in the area and every year that the end of the school year, all of the kids that has perfect attendence, their name goes into a hat and one gets pulled and they get the car free of charge. Now that's one hell of a graduation present!!!!

Had fun today though. Congrats to all the winners. 2nd place got a trophy, and 1st place got a bigger trophy, and an Emerson dual 10" sub and bandpass box and 500 watt mono amp from Mobile 1. And there was 2 categories, Most Customized and Peoples Choice. Also gave out a bunch of door prizes. Saints Jersey, Motocross tickets, Larry the Cable Guy tickets, Cell Phone, 2 years of free oil changes, and I think that's it.

I got a pair of Larry the Cable Guy tickets and 1st place Most Customized.

Congrats on the win and thats great about the dealership doing a show from now on. I was wanting to make the drive down but my wifes two nephews had there state wrestling match so wanted to be there for them. Was the SET rep Elton Pride? if so he is great and the one to contact if you put on a show to get some scion gear. Caint wait to see some pics of the show and will try to make it next year.

it wan't all that great .. they gave away some good things though for door prizes .. one of the nola guys won 2 years of free oil changes so that was awesome .. but the guy admitted this was his 1st show he ever did and put on so he had no idea what he was doing .. they didn't even have t-shirts .. but he said its something he wants to start doing every year around this time .. but hey porkchop he is a scion person there like you are at courvelle so i gave him your cell, just in case he calls and ask pointers for a better show .. they are also looking to sponsor the nola scikotics chapter to so that will be cool they will have a sponsor now

Well, if they treat you 2 equally then no biggie. Not a problem unless someone makes it a problem I suppose, just make sure its not one of us that makes a problem if there ever is one.

They're sponsoring 2 clubs cuz it's Scion that's backing them up on it. They can do that.

Yeah, it sucks they wanna sponsor them when they didn't even show up, but companies are allowed to sponsor who they want and as many people as they want. The more people, the more they get their name out.

yea that does suck since they have bone brothers and yea they didn't even show up to there 1st car show .. we may not have had a good turn out but we did have people there from scikotics .. hope it all works out though
