Greetings folks

I was toying around with an Idea after I noticed something this morning
Im sure you have seen my announcement and revised Itinrary of the Sanitarium weekend since Scinergy called off thier East Coast Nats Show on the Sunday 3-15-09

If you read the revised Itinerary I posted that we would probably be doing a Farewell BBQ/Cookout at Stone Mountain Park.

Well I just Realized looking at the 2009 schedule, that the Import Face Off will be here in Atlanta on that Sunday the 15th of March

So my question to Yall what would yall rather do?

1. A farewell BBQ/Cookout
2 Go Crash and Show at IFO with a shitload of Scions and Sckotics?

I can try to work out with IFO a discounted rate to show, and maybe even put something together with SET to partially sponsor us into the Show on Sunday

Let me know what yall think and I will get to work on whatever the Majority wants to do

We are going to the IFO show in Gainesville on Sunday. Either one would be cool.. but I do have a fear of Stone Mt... so teh show gets my vote lol

I voted for cookout just because of money situations!

yeah, but if SET will cover some of the cost, that would be pretty awesome!

We are going to work very hard to try to get a deal to keep it as low as we possibly can for the scion owners

It would be pretty sick to roll in the 100+ strong

I know at this IFO we are getting $5 off the entry price.. so its $20 for the show... I dunno if we will have the same discount or better if we roll in with more. I know we are rolling in with like 20-25 cars to this one.

Yea thats the standard discount, we are going to try for more
plus as I said, when I have a better idea of a full roll call, Im goin to talk to the shows sponsors to possibly subsidize a good portion of the attendees attending IFO and just make it part of the weekend:Danseurvert:

The Import would be awesome! Especially with so many Scions in town!
I agree about the costs! With us bringing the whole family, that is 4 adults (since 13 & 15 are over the under 12 free price!)
I looked at the website and they don't have a place on there yet. But I did some searching and saw that it is on the Atlanta Dragway website for the 15th. Atlanta Dragway is in Commerce, which is about 45min east of where we will be on I-85.
Although that will be in the wrong direction for us Valdosta folks to go home! :mrv:

actually I heard that too, that it was going to be at the dragway which is actually cool, it is only about 35-40 min north on I85 from the Drury Inn and only about 15 min from Toyota Mall of GA so its not too bad

Drury inn is on exit 199 and the dragway is I think something like exit 245, Ive been to a show there before, its a great location, and if the weather is good, it will be awesome

REALLY? So when they get the registration online, we all just need to get on there and do it, especially if it is free!
I know all of us in Valdosta Qualifies for that!

Here is the info for that, but they don't even have the Atlanta information posted yet! I think before anyone goes and does this, that we need to hold off and make sure that Brant gets the final itinerary done. Then we can all flood them with all of our emails!
There is still plenty of time!
Just hope that it is NICE weather that weekend!
