Carbon Fiber Hood!. EVO Style..Yay!

Soo basicly a few weeks ago my hood and winsheild got "stomped out" while i was in school!!! And i have no clue who did it...(i wish i did tho. lol i need 2 test out my front bumper on sum1s face!).. haha jp jp.. But it was a total of 3700 dollers in damage and the guy at the autoshop is hooking me up with a carbon fiber hood instead of a OEM hood.. So its supposed 2 be here sometime @the end of this week and im juiced!! I wil post pics in a few minutes... Reply and let me kno what yall think!

I noticed your name and was wondering, what turbo do you recomend for an auto tC. I have a thread about this but i want to get all the opinions possible. Its titled Supercharger..<-- its confusing. I started out wanting a S/C.

Something like that happening...I'd get like a camera installed in my car so its only on when you are away in class. I'll never understand why people act stupid...

i have the same hood as well good vis quality make sure you wax it good all the time unlike me and tend to forget about it and let it turn bronze like...

I don't like it. The hood is too busy, not to mention you're going to get a lot more attention from people good or bad. Everyone is going to want to mess with you even more.

I'm not boosted...yet lol. But for an auto I'd say the Dezod kit. My friend has it on his manual tC and loves it. Only problem he's having is getting it tuned right cause we don't have any shops in our area that can tune a tC. Sorry it took so long to reply. Post some pics of it on your car when you get it on I'd love to see it.

yea i read the whole thing been thinking of going boost but from everyone i see that adter atleast 30k miles on being on boost and auto the tranny starts to slip which isnt good at all

it doesnt matter if its brand new the thing is the tranny being on boost for around 30k starts to slip:hurt:

Umm....either way you're going to need to worry about the tranny slipping

take it from someone that is about to boost an auto. The tranny is only good up to 250whp. Everyone that i have talked to start having problems with the tranny. Make sure you plan everything out first. Plus you are going to need a good shop to tune it right. i am trying for 300+ whp on an auto. i know it can be done. once i get it all done i will post pic's and info. this project is going to take me a year or so to complete once i start.

well if you do go boost and wanna run on stock internals i think you will be good if you get a tranny cooler from what i read... Forgot his user name but he was only at 220hp and his tranny started to slip and i think he had to get it rebuilt

Nope i meant $3,700... but i found out it was only $3,000... Thats with labor and also paint.. i didnt mention it above cause i didnt notice it but they keyed my front bumper too... Im not worried because the insurence is paying for all of it and since im getting a CF hood he doesnt have to color match it or anything so hes giving me the $$ for the labor time and paint he is using =).... Make sense?
