Who wants to be Feburary's SOTM?????
Here is the general line-up for SOTM:
* 1st of the month -to- the 23rd - is for nominations...no comments or voting or seconds or whatever. Then I close this thread. Only 5 of the nominations will be carried over to be voted on. This is determined by the nominations that followed the posting rules (in the thread) and a few other factors.
* 23rd of the month -to- the 1st - is for voting in the poll and friendly comments within the new vote thread. Then, I close this thread and I add the winners to the front page of Scikotics and make a new congratulations thread for everyone to post in as well. The congratulations thread is the only one that is never closed for each month.
And the winner can not be nominated again for 12 months. But can be nominated over and over again until winning. And they can run for SOTM, if they won SROTM, within 12 months or vice versa. Winning one does not disqualify you for the other.
Since we are Your Friendly Neighborhood Scion Club, lets have fun while we enjoy a little friendly competition!
SOTM:
* You can nominate yourself.
* They must be a registered Scikotics member.
* No member can win more than once in any twelve month period.
* Include a photo, real name & screen name and their chapter.
* Post a couple of sentences or a mini-story as to why you think you or he or she should be the Scikotics of the Month.
Note: The final 5 members will be picked after a fair and impartial process according to the entries presented.
Note: If you do not follow these basic rules, your nomination could be bumped.
Note: This thread is for nominations only and once someone is nominated, they do not have to be nominated again. All comments and chit-chat will be deleted. Please save it all for the vote and congratulations threads.

I guess Ill get this started
I would like to nominate Chris (NightHawk) of the Atlanta Chapter as Scikotic of the month.
Chris is the "posterchild" of what being sciko is all about. He has much love for the club, as well as the members in it, he has much love for all scion owners whether they are Sciko or members of other clubs, he is always willing to lend a helping hand and his expertise on mods, computers, home entertainment systems what ever, he seems to just love hanging out with others who share the same passion as him .
Chris is amazing when it comes to helping out and hooking up members of the chapter and is often driving all over Atl to go to peoples houses to help them out. I remember one day he was going to come over to the zilla cave to help me out with some computer/photoshop issues and he said he would be over in 4-5 hours cause he had to go by a couple other members places to help them out with a couple mods or problems and I think he stopped by 2-3 peoples places on his may to my place. Another time during our Sciko Xmas Party when it was cold & drizzly outside Chris was out in the driveway installing a CAI for one of the members, he is just a very giving and humble person that has a heart of gold
Chris never asks for anything in return and just loves helping out others and hanging out with fellow scikos.
When Chris is traveling he also makes a point to hook up with other Sciko chapters and visit with them
Im honored to know Chris and consider him a friend, and he certainly makes Atl Scikos proud
He has a pretty awesome ride too, but thats another nomination for another time!:trophy:
and I know he was probably wondering why I snapped these photos of him
Well now ya know, "the rest of the story"

I would like to nominate one of our CPR's Vince (Clubsprint). He is the one in our Chapter who is always ready to help. "Install day" is any day, and some evenings, at his house. All the members ask him the tough questions. He'll go with you to buy parts and help you pick out what you need then go back to his place and he'll install it for you. He has probably saved us all thousands of dollars in labor and parts. It really doesn't matter to him what you need or when you need it, if he can fix it, he'll do it. He's even been known to help a friend, spouse, or other person related to a Scikotic.
He's also a good friend to all of us. We can talk with him about problems, personal or Chapter-related and he'll listen. He'll try to help if he can, but he does always listen. It's great knowing there is someone that will be there for you when you need them.
He supports our Chapter 100% by being at the meets and at the shows. He takes pride in his Scion and in helping all of us make ours the best it can be. He has that great Scikotics twisted sense of humor and exhibits it at any and all occasions.
With all this in mind, I'd like to nominate Vince for Scikotic of the Month because he is.

I would like to nominate Capitals HMFIC Curtis aka Homer, as SOTM.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y14/Homer12085/Picture327.jpg
Curtis is a dedicated Scikotic, hes an all over nice guy, willing to help out anyone who needs it, espcially me, i cant count the times hes helped me out with my whip, he greets new Scikos into the club like he has known them for years, he made me feel welcome from day one. He worked hard bringing the once dead Capital chapter back from the dead, and is still making the chapter stronger, i believe he deservers to be Feburary's SOTM, and i hope you do to so he can be recongnized for the work he put into his own Chapter, thank you and good luck to everyone :md:

Ok… So I would like to re-Nominate:
Erwin “E” (Jax84) SE - RMFIC - Jacksonville, FL Chapter
I met “E” over a year ago back when I was in another club (NO NAMES).
Back then the Jax Chapter was having a hard time establishing themselves.
“E” was approached by the crew and asked to be the “H”.
Funny that only a couple weeks prior was the 1st Scion Event that “E” and his Scion had ever been to. And he loved the community so much he took on the challenge of getting Jax on their feet with a promise of a little help since he was new to everything Scion.
Shortly after my “old club chapter” folded, and “E” graciously accepted us with OPEN ARMS into Scikotics Jax.
“E” is a no BS kinda guy, but is defiantly a leader in our LOONEY BIN….
He’s laid back, loves his family, and puts them 1st in everything
Recently "E" has taken on his new role of SE- RMFIC and is doing a GREAT job.... and still making sure there is time for our Chapter.
He has been there personally for me to talk marriage, to talk club business, or to buy lots of Lumpia from me to help get me home to Nebraska…lol (Thank “E”)
He has offered his home to the entire club and other chapter members on many occasions. He will email me all day long to help get thru certain decisions regarding our Chapter, and just to let me "vent"....
I cannot say “E” is and Angel (like me) but I can tell you that if it wasn’t for him stepping up I’m not sure where Jax would be right now.
And with him as our SE- RMFIC.... He will definatly be a leader to watch out for !!!
So, in ending I would like to nominate him as SOTM….

I too would like to nominate Vince (Clubsprint) for Scikotic of the Month. I like to call him the godfather because when it comes to mods he is one of many guys to ask if not THE guy. He has experience in modding past cars and is always willing to share the knowledge with anyone that has a question or ideas about their ride. He's definitely had an influence on everyone in our chapter! He knows the best ways to get mods for your car and for the best price. He's always willing to go with you when shopping for your scion and (just like hellen4wheels said) he's even willing to help you install it! I've been to his place on weekends and see people show up with something that looks halfway installed or just looks unprofessional and he'll fix it up right, looking clean, tell you how he did it and when he's done you hear him say "Now it looks good for shows." His imagination is endless when you ask about ideas for modding your ride. I'm impress by his patience because when I first joined the club I was all afraid to ask questions because I felt like a rookie amongst veterans but Vince (and JT, Megan, and Kyle) quickly made me feel comfortable no matter how stupid I thought the question was. He gave me a crash course on headers and was patient whenever I mention I was clueless on certain areas. He's a cool mofo to hang around. Always has a joke to tell ya and is a huge Philadelphia Eagles buff which he reminds every cowboys fan. I could go on and on but ask anyone in the Funkytown chapter in Texas about Vince (Clubsprint) and I'm sure they will tell you he's the head of Voltron. So my vote goes to the Godfather! Vince aka Clubsprint

I forgot to add pics of Vince. He's not the photo type so pics of him are rare.
