I think I read somewhere that the ZPI kit was good for 160 at the wheels. I want to say it was on their website.

let me interject here there are alot of people who preordred these zpi kits an still have not recieved them. I have heard stories with the XB of welds breaking things of that nature and I honestley believe the preorder is actually finacing their testing there is no way they are making 180 whp heck the japanes couldn't even do it and I don't believe some guys in kentucky can do it either I have personally worked with emanage and to many doors are closed unitl somone goes standalone the highest number I have personally seen is 137whp out of an XB and that was tuned in by one of the top tuners in the country with over 40 years experience teh emanage gets to a point where you just hit a brick wall. ZPI also outsources their turbo kits to who I have no idea but these guys are not doing groundbreaking work on the XB might be a diffrent story on the TC but I have seen hundreds of unhappy people with ZPI posted all over scion life. The most promising kit to date is put out by power enterprise and they are making alot of progress in their R&D they will be upgrading the power in their kits shortley. I would go with power Enterprise and get on a standalone setup. If you really want power and accurate numbers. i have also seen peole with all sorts of problems with codes and errors with the ZPI kit hopefulley they will get it fixed and get theri kits out to customers who have been waighting for over a year. They also sell nology which and tell you it gives gains which is BS with a coil on plug desighn. i am not nocking anyone but I have seen enough threads that I would seek my solution elsewhere.

Oh christ now we are bringing this shit from SL over to here.......Christ the Dyno video is on their site....how much more proof do you need?
http://www.zeropointindustries.net/gallery/albums/videos/xBdyno.wmv
184whp
171 ftlbs
7.5 psi

and here is the video of the xb racing the supercharged TC
http://www.zeropointindustries.net/gallery/albums/videos/tcvxb.wmv

and all this knowledge you have gained is based on threads.....you talk about how they produce their products....yet its all based on thread.....and then of course the statement that there is no way they are making 180 horsepower ......that from a thread too........or does that actual video of it being done.....not good enough......

Let ME interject here. As I see a lot of false information being passed around in this post. First let me start by saying, people who have everything working for them will RARELY post about something good. Which leaves 90% of anybody having anything to say, telling you about their problems. Secondly, any and all issues to ever arise even recently are resolved, and would have been done faster if people would take their first approach with the company rather than making a thread about it, and waiting for the company to find it and reply (Then they wonder what took so long). I have personally rode in the boosted xB from ZPI, and that thing hauls ass. I liked it so much that I wanted to borrow it for a while.

About the Outsorcing of turbo kits. Again, false information. Here is how it works sir. A turbo company will design and produce a kit for the said car. Once that is done, they will either 1) Mass produce the parts IF, and IF they have that equippment in house. or 2) If they don't have the equippment, they will take it to a company who can MASS produce the parts needed, according to THEIR specs. I don't know where you have been, or how you do your research, but ZPI is an bonified Performance Shop (translation....THEY OWN A SHOP). If they push the tC the way they do, WHY would you not think they would do the same for the xB?

As for Power Enterprise....WHO exactly has a kit installed by them on ANY Scion? How can you vouch for a kit that has no history behind it? Do you have this kit installed on your xA? I would hope since you are recommending it, that you actually have personal experience with it right?

As for people with ALL Sorts of problems as you stated, can you reference that material here for me, cause I would like to find exactly where the abundance of problems are? I mean, what can be worse than the Blown up motors, cars shutting off and not starting, or just plain ole Good Marketing and not backing it up with Good Hp #'s that I'm seeing from the other companies kits. And I find it very interesting that you commented that people have been waiting for a YEAR for their kit.....Hmm...I didn't know ZPI had been doing R&D on the xB for over a year now...My where does the time fly...Oh wait, that's because they haven't even been doing turbo kits on the xB for a year, so how can people be waiting for a year? The ONLY thing with the xB kit is that it was remote mounted (located underneath the car), and some where concerened with clearence (as we know most xB's like to ride on the ground). So, ZPI went back in to rework it, and figure a way to revise and raise the kit some more. You will throw a CEL, but it's no where near the pain and headache of having your engine blow up, or your car shut off because of misaligned pipes. I have driven on a CEL light for over a year, on a stock block, and hammer the hell out of this car.

Seeing as how they OUTSOURCE their turbo kits, I guess I must have dreamed my rolling up to ZPI to get our turbo installed and pipes made....BY HAND.

If you are going to say something, I would think you would have a little more information about it first. I mean, seeing as how I get all the Modified magazines, Super Street, and Import Tuner, I can consider myself an expert and now I can build an engine right? (Sarcasim). You want to let me build your engine for you (seeing as how I've read all the forms and magazines and know what I need to know)? I guess everyone can't think for themselves and read between the lines to figure out who REALLY puts up or shuts up.

built BY....ZPI....welded BY.....ZPI.....tuned BY....ZPI

I will add one more comment to try and help you out with deciding...you see the videos above so you know the numbers that can be produced. I will be the first to admit that ZPI has their delivery issues, and hopefully that is being addressed...but they do make/design very good products...so I will say this.....if you can wait then I would go with ZPI kit...and you will have a good running xB.....if you dont want to wait...then I would suggest looking at another kit and I am sure you will be happy there too....I do not know of what other kits are out there for the xB so I CAN NOT speak intelligently on these. Good Luck man!
