thanks man, but i thought the low beam and high beam were one in the 09s bc arent they projectors? so the bulb size is H11 for the low beams. is it different for high beams or is it a single bulb? kinda confused im getting different answers on different websites.
The projectors are your low beams. That's where the HID bulb goes.
They're H11 SAME as the fogs and HI BEAMS.

I don't know too much about wheels. You can always contact Toyota and ask about the TRD wheels. I have them.
:toast: AS well as the TRD drop springs. They're are a great combo.

You can find the springs here http://trdsparks.com/displayparts.php?Mdl_dtl=631&Part_cat=11&parts_id=1565 well as alot of other stuff.
I really don't know alot about the wheels...sorry Toyota would be able to help you out.

My wife has a 2008 xB and we actually got to try a 18" wheel on her car without buying them. First and foremost, we have Tanabe DF210 lowering springs which drop a Gen 2 about 2". Second, we tried a 18" X 7.5" wheel with a 225/40R18 tire and the setup was perfect. There was still room for turn radius and enough clearence that rubbing did not look as if it would be an issue. The TRD lowering springs drop the Gen 2 about 1-1.2". From one Civic SI owner trying to please that special someone, to another......I hope this helps you.

i think i may have suggested a 225/45/18 tire, but i should prolly tell them to go 40. hopefully shell have the money sometime soon for a drop otherwise the gap will be rather large. i know the first thing i did was drop my SI. but yeah raysee that helps out a lot!! and what si do you have?

2000 Civic Si with a JDM Acura Integra Type R motor and transmission swap (LSD).
Glad I could help you out. If you need anything, hit me up. If you plan on staying active in the Scikotics forums, you should stop by the Groupies forums. Later

We compared the 225/40 right next to a 225/45 and there was a HUGE height difference. I don't recommend the 225/45 if your going to do a 2" drop. They look like monster truck tires next to the 225/40

As far as wheels, you can use the interactive wheel system at this site:
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/interactive.do?yr=2009&vid=014514
Just pick the color of the car and you can put the different types of wheels on it.

Yes, that is a good site. You can also use www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com) they use the same type of display, however...I think I like discount tire's site better. The wheels are visually more clear.
