--Nominations for Decembers SOTM--

Who wants to me SOTM for Christmas?????


Here is the general line-up for SOTM:

1st of the month -to- the 23rd - is for nominations...no comments or voting or seconds or whatever. Then I close this thread. Only 5 of the nominations will be carried over to be voted on. This is determined by the nominations that followed the posting rules (in the thread) and a few other factors.
23rd of the month -to- the 1st - is for voting in the poll and friendly comments within the new vote thread. Then, I close this thread and I add the winners to the front page of Scikotics and make a new congratulations thread for everyone to post in as well. The congratulations thread is the only one that is never closed for each month.

And the winner can not be nominated again for 12 months. But can be nominated over and over again until winning. And they can run for SOTM, if they won SROTM, within 12 months or vice versa. Winning one does not disqualify you for the other.

Since we are Your Friendly Neighborhood Scion Club, lets have fun while we enjoy a little friendly competition!


SOTM:

You can nominate yourself.
They must be a registered Scikotics member.
No member can win more than once in any twelve month period.
Include a photo, real name & screen name and their chapter.
Post a couple of sentences or a mini-story as to why you think you or he or she should be the Scikotics of the Month.

Note: The final 5 members will be picked after a fair and impartial process according to the entries presented.

Note: If you do not follow these basic rules, your nomination could be bumped.

Note: This thread is for nominations only and once someone is nominated, they do not have to be nominated again. All comments and chit-chat will be deleted. Please save it all for the vote and congratulations threads.

first off, whys it gotta be the Christmas SOTM? why cant it be the Hanukkah SOTM? (im jewish...) or the Kwanzaa, or Ramadan... ethnically insensitive prick! (i kid, i kid dave! dont blind me with the strobes!)

ok, on a serious note, i would like to give the HANUKKAH gift of SOTM Nomination to Malane AKA Angel AKA Boxxxy_lady; the CPR for the Jacksonville Chapter.

Angel has been my Angel on many occasions. i first met her on April 26th, 2008... way back in the day it was a small car show where i didnt know anyone. she was one of the people who helped put together this show last minute as the sponsors basically backed out but there still needed to be a show to go on. At the show Malane did a great job of just being chill! she was the one running the show, she was the common connection amongst all the people at the show, and she was the one focused on the show and keeping things on track. in the 7 months ive known here now, none of this has changed...

on a personal level Malane has always been there for me, when i call i know she will answer and talk to me for hours on end while i do nothing but rant, that is until her husband calls, for some reason she always answers for him too. :(

weather it be car related, club related, life related or other she is always on point and surprising with her wisdom. also her lack of selfishness. i can think of more then one occasion where she has taken the spot light off of herself and pointed it to others whom she felt either deserved it more or could benefit from it more.

she also always amazes me with her care for SAFTEY! every event i have ever been to with her has always contained AT LEAST one SAFTEY MEETING. its the type of thing over looked by most, some even choose to pretend like it doesnt exist, but not Angel, she always takes time to point out the SAFTEY involved in everything we do, and how its better to do things SAFELY.

so in summary, after the past year and all the gifts she has given me, im choosing the cheapest HANUKKAH gift i could think of, and thats to nominate her for SOTM...

Ok… So I would like to Nominate:
Erwin “E” (Jax84) Jacksonvilles' "HMIC"

I met “E” over a year ago back when I was in another club (NO NAMES).
Back then the Jax Chapter was having a hard time establishing themselves.
“E” was approached by the crew and asked to be the “H”.

Funny that only a couple weeks prior was the 1st Scion Event that “E” and his Scion had ever been to. And he loved the community so much he took on the challenge of getting Jax on their feet with a promise of a little help since he was new to everything Scion.

Shortly after my “old club chapter” folded, and “E” graciously accepted us with OPEN ARMS into Scikotics Jax.

“E” is a no BS kinda guy, but is defiantly a leader in our LOONEY BIN….
He’s laid back, loves his family, and puts them 1st in everything.

He has been there personally for me to talk marriage, to talk club business, or to buy lots of Lumpia from me to help get me home to Nebraska…lol (Thank “E”)

He has offered his home to the entire club and other chapter members on many times.

I cannot say “E” is and Angel (like me) but I can tell you that if it wasn’t for him stepping up I’m not sure where Jax would be right now.

So, in ending I would like to nominate him as SOTM….

PLUS… At the time of this post I am the only nomination for Dec. And who want to be the ONLY ONE ??? So lets make this interesting…lol
