So, thanks to Lawrence Scion, I recieved a 1/2 off coupon from Strup. Seeing that I already have a Magnaflow catback, I shall be ordering a header from them. So far, research has shown me ceramic will reduce heat and I won't have to worry about keeping it clean like the stainless header. I will be leaving the heat shield off, so will I have to worry about anything melting if I go with the ceramic? Does anyone have any pics of the ceramic header installed? Is there a sound difference between the ceramic and stainless? Also, I would like to avoid rasp, so since I only have a catback do I need to worry about installing a resonator? Thanks in advance.

Did you install any type of mid pipe or down pipe? If not, how is the sound with just the header and exhaust?

RASP!!!!!!!! you need to add at least a 18" resonator to your midpipe to cut it down so people cant hear you a mile away.

I was thinking about getting the Vibrant Ultra quiet resonator:

Now, I was told this needs to be welded on to the midpipe. I have a stock midpipe so, would I need the 2 1/4" outlet or the 2 1/2" outlet?

safer to go larger, the person welding will thank you. also take note that the clearance in the midpipe area is very tight and that may not fit. take a look under your car to see what i mean.

Just pulled the trigger on an Invidia s-pipe from hopupracing.com. It was $155 shipped; not too bad. I was going back and forth between a generic ebay s-pipe but didn't like the look of the welds. I also ordered an AR25 resonator for the rasp when I get my header. I hope everything will sound ok with my magnaflow catback.

Thanks. How's the pipe working for you? How long have you had it?

I was looking at this one:

I just didn't like the look of the welds by the end. Is this the one you got? I figured better safe than sorry.
