We counted over 40 stickers! The guy was telling people that he replaced the 1.6 motor with a 2.0 motor, too bad the Focus never had a 1.6 in it ever. I guess that stickers not only add horsepower but they also increase your chances of winning! I'm going to have to get some... :censored::badmood:

One Focus model had a 1.8 in it, the same block as the 1.8 Miatas. People used to put Ford cam covers off that Focus onto their Miata engine for a different look.

The 1.8 engine used is an enlarged and lengthed version of the 1.6 one used in the Miatas, which is itself a version of the one used on the 323 (forgot specific model, but is basically a 1980s Mazdaspeed 3) 1.6 turbo.

I'd hate to disagree but in the USA there has never been a production focus that had a 1.8. All the ones in the US had 2.0's and a couple models had 2.3 duratec motors, I double checked for confirmation :-) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Focus_(North_America) I just thought it was silly he was telling people he swapped motors yet he was still running around on stock steel wheels with hubcaps, no springs or any type of suspension upgrades nothing on the motor, only "performance" upgrade were cheap APC mufflers. And the best part? He nicknamed himself "Speed Racer" oh yeah...

3 boxes had damage and NONE of us 3 were happy about that! You will see pics of Jimmy's first, looks like he was sandblasted on his new paint job! This photo album is a automatically updating one so in a few minutes the pics of mine (similar to Jimmys, except for a large chunk that was taken out of my front 5Axis kit), and then Bubba's damage was he now needs two new tires!! I don't know if anyone got pics of that but I'm sure Bubba can take a couple to show. :-) So my camera was crapping out on me so the last 8 pics are actually from me, the rest were taken by Angel but I'm the computer nerd so I get to have the honor of posting them up!! :-)

Just the roads thats all. The crazy thing is we didn't even roll together. Jimmys damage happened Saturday morning on his way down and mine was the night before, I never heard a thing (my radio was pretty loud though).

I've seen many cars come to a show with painters tape on the front ... But that sux... So dont hate when i show up with blue painters tape on the front of mine.... ooo! Better yet .... i'll get the lime green painters tape .. .lol

yeah sounds like a good idea. went to Shannon today he estamated the damage at $2083.00 :shock:.so called the insurance company and they startedall the paper work today. waiting on the ajuster so i can go to work on it.:cantiere:
