Quick search on the internet and I found this:

It's from a person named zanson on YourSciontC.com forums.
The color IMO are pretty ugly but the suede is very well done. Kind of different from what you're asking, but still very legit, haha. I'm going to do that in the future with the headliner and dash.
Also have these pics (from YoshiBaby06 on CarDomain, found both this and the one above on Google Images):

Sorry... I didn't read the part about glassing over it. I just read pulling the material off, painting it, and then putting it back on. It's probably easier than doing the suede or adhering another type of fabric on there, though.

i dont think the fabric can be pulled off the headliner, i might be wrong but it think it will ruin it, the headliner is like a compressed wood fiber board, i think

i've never seen a tc with the actual dash painted but i have seen a couple of xbs and they sanded it smooth and didn't use much filler. i'll see if i can find some pics or a link

yeah, i have a friend with an xB whose dash is painted... thats why i want to do it. lol. and the headliner, could i just glass over teh material that is there?
on the tC would it be safe to leave the air bag under the dash once painted, would it function normal, or should i remove it? (ill have racing seats with a 5pt harness, and harness bar.)

You should be able to glass over the headliner...as for the dash you can just sand it smooth and paint.

sounds like you already know the round about process for the dash. As for the headliner, you can soak the current liner the way it is w/resin, then apply cloth, or mat to it to add more strength. The only downfall is your either going to use an autotwirler to basically flip your car upside down to glass it (w/engine removed of course), or glass it while its still in the car, in place. You can do it w/it outside the car, but the weight of the resin, and the ratios used will warp the form, resulting in a good idea gone terribly wrong

The dash you can just sand and prime and paint. It is plenty thick enough so you shouldn't sand through or need any filler. The headliner you can just pull out and put a thin layer of resin on to hold shape and the once it's dry continue on.
