Alright, I have heard yes I have heard no, I have heard maybe......Here is the scenario and question. My 06 tc has tein s-techs. For those unfamiliar that's a 2.0" drop in the front and a 2.4" in the rear.....The question(s)>>>Can I fit a 19x8.5 rim under there with 35mm offset? If so, what size tire should i use without stretching?(Stretching looks horrible and leaves the lip exposed) I am willing to mod the wheelwell or roll a fender if necessary. Finally will it rub horribly or slightly? I can deal with slightly. Anyone that knows anything or anyone that has done this to a tc please let me know how you did it and maybe even enclose a pic.

ed like i told you before with a 225 on a 19x8.5 you will rub. horribly you'd have to roll your fenders and remove the fender liner completely if u didn't want as much but even then you'd probably still rub.

WELL TO TELL YOU, I HAVE NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR THAT HAS THE SCION TC RS1.0, SHE HAS 19” ON HER CAR WITH TEIN S TECH, ANDS SHE DOES NOT RUB, SHE RUNS ON AXENIS 235/35/19, I CAN TAKE PICTURES IF YOU LIKE SO YOU CAN SEE FOR YOUR SELF.

BSP dyno - she might have a good offset with the 19's. It's the offset that matters the most - you didn't post what offset she has so you can't say.

19x8.5 +35 offset will rub.

i rub with a 45 offset and i would rub more with a 35 offset. jose i doubt they're 8.5's and i'm pretty sure she rubs

I just spoke to a guy in California who sent me a couple of pictures of his fm tc. He has a 2inch drop with the stern st1 face 3 beast wheels, which are 19x8.5 with a 35mm offset and 235/35/19 tires and he states they barely rub. I am more inclined to put these wheels on my car seeing them on the tc they look badass. If i have to roll my fenders or tweak the fender well liner I am ok with that.

just remember ed roads in cali are a lot better than roads here, you will have to roll your fenders and you might want to just take out the fender liner on the front. DO IT, it will look bad ass. You might want to get some bigger brakes too ;)

yeah bro... guy here in orlando has tsw thruxtons in 19... and he doesnt rub.... when the car is stopped
