Ladies and Gentellmen, Boys and Girls of all ages, Mark your calenders I am very proud to announce the 1st Annual Cedar Rapids Scion Show.


Alot more information will be posted later on details about what classes, prizes and activites <~~ oh yea activites and after party. I will be working with some of the local hotels in town to help on the cost for rooms for any out of towners who are making the long trip here to Cedar Rapids.

I know this is kinda early but I wanted to give advance notice for everybody scheduled.

Update:

Working with the city, the show might be indoors at the uscellur center in cedar rapids. In the heart of the city.

Huge amount of space for display and people viewing vehicles.

chris when i went to shrevport LA it took 8 hrs from columbia, MO. Iowa city / CR is 3.5 hrs from there so maybe 12 hrs. NOthing more, a lot of the roads are 4 lane now.

the us cellular center is a convention center / arena where they used to have monster truck shows and all that sorts of stuff. basically if we can have it there it would be like a HIN type deal and hopefully we'll have vendors and booths set up for companies.

we will have automotives electronics, Elemental Designs, and wheel art on hand for sponsors. I have online sponsors sending me gifts and items. So far I have Strup, scionpro, ozium, killer glass (can't spell).

Food will start around 1pm. I know its late, but I wanted people to eat inside. Food will be provided to scion owners that are SHOWING. Drinks are free for everyone. Also as I stated before, every scion will get a gift back pack full of goodies and a gas card. We know how gas is expensive.

Thanks Ben, for the reminder..... I am trying to see if I have funds to get the scion trailer, so we'll see, no promises :-)

Every event I have been to with the Scion semi/trailer, the music has been so loud, I couldn't even think. Now, I love loud music, but it just gets annoying after a while. Granted, Cisco is the one calling the shots and it will be fun either way, but I think the money could be better spent on something else (more/bigger prizes haha). I am looking forward to the show. :up:

Those of you who want to stay the night on Saturday I have some what of a night life planned out for you. We would cruise out of the dealership at about 5:00-6:00 to 3rd base brewery(beer garden). :toast:They have great food and other consumables. I may be able to get some hook up there also if we got enough showing up. Then there is club that we could cruise to that we have dealt with in the past and get crazy.:mj: Last Saturday they had over 1,000 people enter from 10:00 till closing. For this being the first show and with the weather, I wanted to really thank everyone that came. Was great seeing everyone and everyone having a good time. After seeing Ben's car, the dealership now finally wants to do a Turbo kit of some sort. :-)
