Well lets get it started for October!

Here is the general line-up for SOTM:

1st of the month -to- the 23rd - is for nominations...no comments or voting or seconds or whatever. Then I close this thread. Only 5 of the nominations will be carried over to be voted on. This is determined by the nominations that followed the posting rules (in the thread) and a few other factors.
23rd of the month -to- the 1st - is for voting in the poll and friendly comments within the new vote thread. Then, I close this thread and I add the winners to the front page of Scikotics and make a new congratulations thread for everyone to post in as well. The congratulations thread is the only one that is never closed for each month.

And the winner can not be nominated again for 12 months. But can be nominated over and over again until winning. And they can run for SOTM, if they won SROTM, within 12 months or vice versa. Winning one does not disqualify you for the other.

Since we are Your Friendly Neighborhood Scion Club, lets have fun while we enjoy a little friendly competition!


SOTM:

You can nominate yourself.
They must be a registered Scikotics member.
No member can win more than once in any twelve month period.
Include a photo, real name & screen name and their chapter.
Post a couple of sentences or a mini-story as to why you think you or he or she should be the Scikotics of the Month.

Note: The final 5 members will be picked after a fair and impartial process according to the entries presented.

Note: If you do not follow these basic rules, your nomination could be bumped.

Note: This thread is for nominations only and once someone is nominated, they do not have to be nominated again. All comments and chit-chat will be deleted. Please save it all for the vote and congratulations threads.

Id like to RE-nominate the one & only Reaper HMFIC of Chattanooga Tn (BZ)

Ok aside from the obvious i am renominatig REAPER for this months Member of the month. After last months huge voting poll i thought it was only right for him to run again. He is the man as everyone knows.

This man is sciko to the Bone.


As Boxzilla wrote last month

BZ helped me establish the ATL chapter and I have known him for quite a while, even from our previous club

He lives in Dalton GA which is a 2 hour ride from downtown atlanta, yet he is the first to make the 2 hour drive for a show, mod day, meeting, meet & greet whatever it may be, the Reaper is there. He even rolled to asylum in Tulsa with Bridezila and I.

Anytime someone in atl, needs a sound sys installed, Reaper is the "go to" person and he will drive hours to do it. He loves his car, loves his fellow scikos and is a very giving person and will help out anyone in need.

When trying to do a chattanooga TN chapter was brought up, it was an easy decision to to make a tri city chapter with Dalton GA, Cleveland TN and Chattanooga TN chapter and I had absolutely no reservations asking the Reaper to be the H of the new Chapter. Yet even with his new chapter (which is doing well and thriving and he spends alot of time with) Reaper considers himself having (duel citizenship) and he still considers himself a member of both chapters and not only takes care of his own chapter, he still makes every atlanta chapter event and function. That is one dedicated Sciko!!!!!!!!!!!

Lastly I want to say Reaper will take a bullet or even give his life for Scikotics (LOLOLOL)

One day when we were having a meeting of ATL scikos and we were having torrential downpours of rain that day, Boxzila had a failure in the air ride system. Reaper jumped in and we jumped in his ride and both went to the local parts store to buy the stuff we needed to fix the problem. Reaper offered to buy a jack so we could get boxzila off the ground as I was spending a ton on wiring, tools and so on. Well how he almost gave his life for a fellow sciko was; that Reaper was under the car with me trying to set the rear bags when the jack was released and the car fell on both of us. Im not going to mention who released the jack but suffice it to say we are thinking it had to do with life insurance policies:rofl: on me:rofl:

We were cold, wet, reaper had to air tanks resting on his head and so on:help::help::help:

I’d like to nominate Jonathan [jester44], the new VMFIC of Southern Maryland, for the October SOTM.

Since Jonathan has joined Scikotics, he has been a highly active and dedicated member and leader for the state of Maryland. He has been actively searching and letting people know that Scikotics is hands down the best Scion club around, and by doing so, he’s managed to recruit numerous folks to join the Scikotics ranks.

Jonathan is also a parts department employee at our Southern Maryland sponsoring dealership, he’s personally been a HUGE help on my vehicle and numerous others. He’s very resourceful and very intelligent, so that in itself is a fabulous asset to the club and the chapter. There isn’t much he couldn’t help you with!

At meets and events, Jonathan and his wife Heather usually comes along and the two of them make sure that our members are given the “dark-side desserts,” which usually are brownies, cookies or cupcakes… who in the world doesn’t vote on account of sweets? Haha!

Bottom line, like many of the members of this club, Jonathan provides other members a team member that gives not only to the chapter, but the overall club. He’s my nomination for the month of October… best of luck to you all!
