Howdy all
Killerglass's first line of product devolopment is the Scion. Everything we do will first appear here at Scikotics.com.
Currently were working on engine bay dress up items and were looking for suggestions.
We have a full CNC department with the latest equipment.
Were thinking of the fuse box area, possibly a finned billit cover
filler tubes, coolant recover tanks. Anything you can think of
As usual we will be handing these out here for Y'All to try to break & give us some feedback
SO~
If you have any idea on things that you want made speak up & maybe we'll make them
Just giving you what you want

One thing , would be a Battery hold down strap or a cover that would hide the battery all together , after removing my stock air box and installing
my K&N CAI it stands out like a sore thumb .
A bracket to hold the A/C line to the fender as well
it would also be nice to have some interior door pull inserts , to get rid of the ugly plastic ones .
Just a few idea's

Scionpro.com is a distributor for a company that makes stainless steel beauty panels for all three models. You may want to see whats available now before investing alot of money into development of apiece that already exists.
I have always wanted custom lighted door sills though.

Door handles sounds cool along with brackets

Unfortunately its to late for me now because I just shaved my door handles, but for those that wanted the mod without the permanent effect I always thought door handle covers would be really cool, especially, again, if they were lit with either the xB emblems or a custom pattern. They would be bolt on plates that filled the holes where your handles were, giving you the shaved look without the permanent mod ...
Have fun ..

Great idea & easy
A bracket to hold the A/C line to the fender as well
post a picture & give me the dimensions or send me a part number & I will order one to use as a guide
it would also be nice to have some interior door pull inserts , to get rid of the ugly plastic ones .

I was thinking like an engine cover to replace the stock one..with the Scikotics logo or each persons screen name cnc'd into the cover..I have been looking for something like this for a long time !!
Kinda off subject but with the cnc machince could you guys do like shift knobs and such...I have an Idea !!!!
and I agree with Jon too skull stuff is ALWAYS good !!!

i really like the idea of the personalized engine cover. What about the plate that holds the battery on the bottom? Just to clean up the plain black plate that's there now, also would go good with the battery tie down and whatever else you might make.

if you look at the battery picture the plastic plate the the battery sits on, that's what i was talking about replacing. Just to go along with the tie down.

some billet a/c control knobs would look nice. or how about a billet intake manifold or some sort of manifold cover to hide that plastic composite crap.

Now thats an idea .. make some a/c control knobs, the stock ones are hideous and I do not want the pimp stick glass knobs either ...

I wish i had the Equipment . i would be designing a whole lot of Stuff Current i have my 2G welders and under water welders licences but that talent and skill has been gone to waste being topside ! ( divers speach for being on land ). But getting back on subject . A new grill and dust plate behind the grill would be nice . Something exclusive to Scikotics members only !

I guess I'll share my ideas, since some have been stolen already. :x:
Some of my personal mods:
http://upload4.postimage.org/1467500/DSC04261.jpg (http://upload4.postimage.org/1467500/photo_hosting.html)
1] Assorted cloth colored covers for the hood insulation. Very easy to make and install.
http://upload4.postimage.org/1467652/DSC09829.jpg (http://upload4.postimage.org/1467652/photo_hosting.html)
http://upload4.postimage.org/1467666/DSC09830.jpg (http://upload4.postimage.org/1467666/photo_hosting.html)
2] Metal, CF,, ext. Fender area dress ups. Another easy one. My RS 4.0 will light up behind them.
http://upload4.postimage.org/1467813/DSC09967.jpg (http://upload4.postimage.org/1467813/photo_hosting.html)
http://upload4.postimage.org/1467682/DSC09971.jpg (http://upload4.postimage.org/1467682/photo_hosting.html)
3] A true cold air intake KIT. The engine bay area/ radiator block off plate.
http://upload4.postimage.org/1467836/DSC09974.jpg (http://upload4.postimage.org/1467836/photo_hosting.html)
I also have a heavy rain deflector for in front of the grill opening. 05 an up has a plastic piece that would need to be removed from the stock grill.
I also think a single wiper conversion kit would be very cool and not too hard to make up. Like the early 80's VW scirocco and mercedes have.

How about something for under the actual hood. I hate lookiing at the fire blanket and would like to see some diamond plating, mirrors, and/or LED's. I drive a tC and there isn't much to choose from when it comes to that. I also offer my car as a test subject.
I think lighted killer glass with etching would look sweet.
Hit me back if you want more info.

some sort of facia plate to go between the top fender brace between the head lights and the upper grill insert to cover the gap there would really clean up that area on the xB. there is just this big ....hole there, with nothing under it
how about dressing up the top of the head lights with some anodized pieces and hideing the big white buckets

I would like a better looking header shroud for the tC. I don't have headers because I am thinking about getting a turbo down the road. It would be nice to get rid of the ugly shroud that comes on it stock though.

OK here we go with one I whipped up this week
Dont even ask how much for this deal, we'll get something worked out to make it somewhat affordable
Polished aluminum valve cover with 2 windows & 4 of our LEDs behind the cams, this baby looks sick at night (ant post those pics untill the magazene gets their exclusive) but you can see the car at SEMA
We'll get on some of your ideas after SEMA
Keep them ideas coming

Was thinking the same
Now I just need a couple valve covers to practice on, I think the TC would look awsome with this :bash:

I think a cover for the strut tower would be awesome. It is often overlooked but I personaly think the black needs to be covered.

I'll be the first one to send you my TC valve cover! Great timing too... i'm getting ready to pull the motor and build it for alot of boost.. =)
This would look sick on my xb too.... it'd go great with my rainbow lights..lol

Cool,
What I will need is the clearence between the valve cover & what ever cam girdles you install, the extra duty ones come pretty close to them.
Lets do this

hell yeah! My head is on a 3 week back order, and i don't know if the cams in that head with be the same distance away from the valve cover or not. I would imagine they would be the same.
As for other killerglass ideas... i want a killerglass body kit for my TC..lmao! A purple one..lol. really tho.. i think a diversion panel for the tc would be killer! you there would be lots of room for etching on this peice =)
i like the idea of the underhood peice(for the XB). I would so use that! and i was even thinking the inside of the rear hatch.. where i have the mirror plexyglass.
What about a killerglass switch box for my air ride..lol. Or how about the a pillars in the XB with a 1" section the entire lentgh of it cut out with a piece of pyrex(sp) in there that lights up like a rainbow(ok.. ok.. it doesn't have to be rainbow =)
And since you make a box out of this stuff that traveled 3000 feet below water, how bout making a killerglass piece where the CF is on this wing.....

Also, dont forget about bullet casings. im really big on bullet casings and shotgun shells.

I think a Killerglass body kit would be awsome. Furthermore, I believe we should aim at the widebody kit dubbed by 5 Axis. They were going to release the bodykit to the public for $2,250 but thought no one would buy it so they didn't. At this point, the design is open for anyone who wants to impliment upon it. So I say, why not make the first Killerglass Sciko Widebody Kit!
ok here i'll throw this one out for ya. I want a plexiglass upper grill for an xb all etched out with scikotics left in the middle. so that the plexiglass looks frosted with scikotics regular in the middle.
FrankenScion

That would be pimp.
I've been lookin all over for someone who would be able to do that for me. I think it'd be freakin tight lookin. with either cold cathodes or led's lighting it up.

how about a mount that would attatch to one of the battery tie downs or to the battery tie down bar that would hold wires and for those of us with subs the fuse holder(s)? I've got several wires run to my batter and would like a way to keep all of those tied to the batter without using zip ties

what about an engine cover that is like difussed so u can put leds underneath and light it up at night, maybe re-make our stock coolant tank and some catch cans out of the killerglass, that would be awesome cause im looking for a catch can for my supercharger, that would be perfect to redo all the tanks. and if u need any factory part numbers lemme know i do parts at my local toyota / scion dealership.

What happened to the Scikotics personalized engine cover idea? I think that sounded awesome. Also you could have the username or the name "scikotics" be cut out and place LED's behind it. As long as the LEDs aren't touching the engine directly they should be ok right?
If you could make one of those I'd totally buy it
tCMetaLFReaK

I always liked the plexiglass "fiberoptic" look - Light is passed through the side of the glass to eluminate the etching.
I could see it done with a piece of intake tubing - maybe a section of hosing that hold the MAF sensor with a little extra on each side.
Maybe get into the air diversion plate market. ABS plastic tends to warp and the stainless steel/aluminum plates don't tickle my fancy.

I would love to have a plate to cover the ugly gap over top of my radiator. If it could be done in billet and CNC'd with my name that would be awesome!!

how about a new speedo surround that was clear?

brushed aluminum diversion panel and engine cover FTW!
tC engine cover shaped like the xA/xB one with a small raised part in the front center so you could put your own Scion or custom emblem facing towards the front of the car. DO IT! :p
