Where did you get the toyota ist emblems.

Search for them on Ebay. Look for 08 xd ist parts.

Good work man! I did the badge swap too... Now all I have to do is find either an airbag with the Toyota emblem on it to replace the one in it now, or a good replacement steering wheel.

You get the blue mirrors off of eBay or somewhere else? i want to get them but I'm a little unsure of where to buy them...

not sure on ebay. i lucked out a friend went to japan last year and i asked for a bunch of parts to look for. but you can try carson toyota they should have all the part numbers already. ;) i've been ordering some things thru them. hey twisted it's my once a month blast to get the xd world going again. LOL. can't let this die.

They dont know about any of the JDM parts comming from Toyota, they don't have any of them, nor do they have part numbers. Aside from the fact that each time I call there they transfer me around between several people. I don't think they know how their own stealership works.

sorry you folks had bad experiences but i'm in hawaii so everything is phone and emails and can't just peep out a toyota dealership, and haven't had any problems. first if they never looked up a "JDM" part how will they get the number don't they have to do research and find out that information first? and once they have done research they should have the part number. as a few items they had to go find out. and as for pricing, i've watched what most of you folks have paid for your "ist" items and well from what i've paid i've gotten it alot cheaper thru them and that's with EMS also. even like those selling "ist" parts on ebay, OMG, some items i compared to my invoice i've saved 40-60 bucks per item. buy yeah i won't get it in 3-4 days. more like a couple weeks. i guess i'm just one of the few that never had a bad experience. and time isn't an urgency to go the ebay route.

Its not that they never have done it its just that they don't know about any of the parts for the xD and it seems like they refuse to research it. I got the part numbers for the iSt badging from another person and ordered them thru where I work and got them CHEAP! It only took a month for them to come in. My thing with Carson is that it seemed like they didn't want to help at all and they really weren't intested in the sale. Had they gotten the part numbers and got the parts I would have probably bought thru them.

i see. i guess i've not encountered that problem. so far they've been happy to help me. even with the next batch of stuff i got them working on for me. ;-)

yeah we only have one company (dealership) that sells toyota, scion and lexus so they've banned people from ordering parts from japan for a long long time now. cause back in the 80's people used to order so many trueno and other jdm parts that it flooded the market. so that they stopped ordering parts from japan for individuals. so now we have to work with other resources to find jdm goodies.

We actually did both. We took a cruise there since my husband doesn't like to fly. After going, he is so in love with the islands, he actually wants to fly back to spend more time there.

yes wish that option came out for all our cars. but yeah, HIN coming up but just way too lazy to throw on the rest of the ist mods. hopefully i will get around to them.

LOL. these are fabulous neck pads. used to have garson a few years ago, but the VIP scene is big here and well every car is either running garson, junction produce, parfume and a few other neck pads. the garson one's i had were cheap like 20-30 bucks a neck pad. the fabulous ones, depending on where range from 50-60 bucks a neck pad. and those fusa's i see them all over the place down here.

everyone's hated shop, carson toyota. but yeah it's crazy out here, this past Street Car Showoff, now called Neo Street in August i would say was almost half VIP cars in that show. so not sure what to expect at HIN in a few weeks.
