I bought mine from a guy in Cali who had them done at a local body shop! But they sell various sprays and tint for them! All good items, look for blue bat ( i think thats the site name) there pretty good!

Its called VHT night shades. Some automotive stores have it or can order ot for you.I got mine from a local custom shop for $14 a can.If you cant find it near you, just google it and find the best price. Also,if you order as a case, you might get thm cheaper if you know people who want some.

1.Find a donor to practice on,one can will do apx 3 pairs of lights.
2.Clean lense VERY good, good window cleaner and paper towels(lint is bad).
3.Spray very very light coats as this is a very watery product.Aprox. 10" away from the lense.
4.(optional)Have oven set at lowest temp(mine is 170).Make sure all wires, bulbs and foam is removed and put in the oven for about 15min.This makes for a strong coat and a little more glossy.
5.Let dry for about 5min before applying another coat.More coats=darker.
6.If you want a glossy finish, get some 1000grit sand paper/emry cloth and wet sand till smooth(have lense under running water and sand till no dimples left)
7.Get some buffing compound and work at it until its shiny enough for your liking.

Thats about all,i didnt do steps 6 and 7 or 4(yet) due to the dimples on xB2's tail lights making it hard to wet sand and polish.Ill get better pics so you can see the texture of those. And actually, the lights are bright enough to be legal at the current tint(i asked a cop freind).Dont do it on the headlights,it has a slight redish tint with headlights, also not for gauge clusters,it'll blur the image showing.
Definatly practice on a donor first tho!!!! I cant stress that enough!
:ok: Any questions, just hit me up again.

the lights are ozniums beefy strips and they held up great through the snow.

they are stock tails just sprayed with vht and then cleared with duplicoat.

the wheels are 18" sacchi s45's w/225/40's.

I have H.I.D.'s and yeah they aren't as bright as they were before the tint but you can still see them very well. I"m happy with them. I'm about to put H.I.D.'s in the fog lights so it won't matter.

rock on everybody!

thats ok stealth_fighter_tc,i didnt really care what kind of car it was.i just wanted to see what people have done.

Oh,and if you guys were wondering, dont tint the gauges.I have mine tinted with 35% window tint on my gauge lense and tho it looks cool, its hard to see during the day with the sun light, works great at night asd when the sun starts going down tho.Even with bright blue instruments(like red bob)its still had to see.Ill try to get pics to show you guys what it looks like.I was trying to go lexus like.

so you are spraying the outside?

Yes,on this set i did.I have the directions posted futher towards the front of the post.I definaly recommend trying it on a donor tail light. The hardest part is to get the spray to be even, otherwise it may get a little blotchy.Ive heard of people using paint thinner to remove it if you dont like it,but i havent tried it or known anyone that has.I also saw another xB2 at a show recently that had his coated with a high gloss clear coat, but you have to be careful bc it looked great but to me it looked like it was really thickly coated, not really my style.

If you have anymore questions, just ask.Ill try to get back to you asap.:MDR82:
