I would like to know specs of Dextron 4 and know why it can suffciently stand the sheer forces and load of the differential gears.

well it's Dexron 4 , was originally dexron the 1, 2 ,3 now 4 , was originally designed for automatic transmissions , Gm also uses it in there
Transfer cases on 4x4 equip vehicles .
heres a spec sheet for dexron III , i was unable to locate one for IIII but for has a longer life span for sure ..
