Don't drive 13mph over the speed limit in those areas??? LMAO!!!
I thought there was a cover you could put over the license plate frame that would reflect the flash and not let them get a good picture. But that may have been years ago...

Drive the speed limit...
Angle your plate so that its harder to see. You may have to use long bolts and washers in the rear but it can be done.

There is a cover I've had on my Bimmer since day1 (2005) that hides half the plate at an angle..... BUT ! That's a $300.00 fine if caught.
I had a very slightly tinted cover on the Scions, was pulled over in DC and given a $200.00 ticket (fought & won) so that's not a resolution either. and they ARE illegal in Md so if you're caught....cha-ching !!!!!!!
Now the zones that are "marked", yeah you can do the limit, and I always do, BUT ....... if another car comes by you at that moment guess what..... you BOTH/ALL get tickets! Biggest fuckin CON for revenue ever !! I know, the shit happens to me all the fuckin time. And you think after goin to fight it enough and found innocent, SOMEONE would say "if there's more than one vehicle in the pics, we can't tell who speeding so let's not ACCUSE any of them" ! But the municipality way of thinking "let's give 'em all tickets and we'll get at least 2 of the 3 to pay the fine"......
Revenue Revenue REVENUE !!!!! Even when going to court, you gotta pay "Court Cost" so you NEVER get off scott free....
Now what about the zones you DON'T know about ??????
What I'm asking is just like Radar jammers, is there some sorta gadget for cameras or the radar they activate off of ?????
I'm investigating and will let you Scikos know what I come up with cause this shit is just rediculous.........
Now I'l step off my soap box! See Chris what you started !!! LMAO !
PS..
And angling the plates don't work. Different municipalities use different brands/types of cameras so what "may" work with one won't work with the rest...... And as for doing the speed limit, yes it's a damn good idea but, just how many people do the speed limit "ALL THE TIME" ???????
I did try the Plate Spray and like it's advertised, it does work.... BUT ! ...ONLY if the camera flashes which all of them used to day and night. But of course the companies have resolved that by not having them flash in the day time. I've tested at night and got the camera to flash and never recieved a ticket 5 outta 5 times....
Now I find this real interesting which is extreme but hey.......

More often than not the cameras are above street level so having it angled with the top out from the body should be hardest to see.

Seriously, don't speed in zones where you know they are. Not sure if there's apps for camera locations, I only know of them in DC along 395. yeah, it sucks, but unless you're int he situation described w/ multiple cars getting tagged when only one is speeding, man up and pay, and go to council meeting to petition their removal (better be able to show it costs the county more than they take in).

"Newsflash" !! Most NEW School Zone cameras (in this area, not sure about others) are ground level boxes (3), but I don't speed thru school zones anyways....

Well in a related f* the nanny cams topic I got hit by the EZ-Pass in Delaware, even though I had an active account and the unit up on the windshield. For a $4 toll, they wanted a $29 processing fee, WTF? I couldn't even see it online because apparently MD EZ-Pass and DE EZ-Pass don't talk and require separate accounts to do anything on the web. Had to Fax (what is this, 1992?) my last statement to Delaware to show it was a good account before they would take the fine away. Wish I could fine them for time and wages spent fighting a BS fee.

Only one, you're lucky. We got 4 tickets last trips, had it up but batteries died. Like $125 in tickets so retarded. Then you have to mail it in and wait for a new one.
On topic... no help we don't have them where I'm at. Philly does for red lights only.

I live an hour from the city, so not much annoyance thankfully. I'm too lost to speed when I'm there.
