i also like it thicken up the ct chap part and see how it plays out you might be able to take off chapter and widen ct as you make bolder it is classy tho

Here's another one I did (all are random ideas because CT doesnt really have a "theme" we're kind of a boring state and all we are known for are schools haha so the two I did dont relate to CT itself) I've got one more coming. I get what you guys are saying about the decal not going with your car themes. I agree with Juan though, I think we need something that stands out. But, simple and clean is always good too! Don't we have to either have the state on everything or not at all? I thought we wouldn't be able to change it once we got it approved.

I could agree the state is a little awkward for the cars, but It also does add quite a bit to the logo design.

I guess it all depends where you are putting the decal on the car. If we got small ones and put them like in our side back windows it could look cool. Abs have our user name under it.

I feel that one of the two I posted should be ours. Either one is more elaborate than most logos we have seen. I kinda like the idea of having our forum names on our cars too.

Both are nice.But Im about simple and clean looking.You cant see the bug all that well and that might be why people will ask what is that on his neck.A small state out lined sticker with scikotics with CT on it would be nice for the front coner of the windshield or side windows.Sometimes more is not always better.

Yeah that's what I was thinking this morning... For the cars I think the state outline logo would be best, and look the coolest. We could do the other one on shirts with our forum names if we wanted.

try to do like the connecticut river or something or like the three cars (tc, xb, xa) or something in the background in the white shadowy color with scikotics under it in the front and ct under that. idk lol

I think the scikotics logo with the outline of te three cars under it is a good idea... and if it has the state shape as a background do we really need to put CT? idk I just don't think this logo should be so extravagant it tears away from the looks of the cars themselves.. just sayin.

Just because other car clubs have the state logo do we need to do the same.There are other ways to tell anyone were we are from.I dont thinck copying what other peiple do,doesnt mean we follow suit.

I feel like we are over thinking all this. the logo that had the state outline with rooster's favorite font was clean, and would look good on any car. Plus it won't be too extreme on a car, and like becky said, anything too crazy could draw away from the car. You want people to look at your car, not your logo.

I feel doing whatever color you want is okay. If it costs more for different colors then you will obviously have to fork out the extra money. I myself will prolly just be doing white.

okay so to bring this thread back to life... koba & i stopped at place near his house today to get pricing ideas on the smaller one. not going to get good estimate unless people say what color they want & so we know how many and stuff. it's for the one that's above where letters are more inside the state (as opposed to one on rooster's car). but then rooster - you said there's a site or email or something where we can order the decals like yours from the guy u got it from for 30 right? maybe we can get a list and start cracking on these decals :) i already know i want pinkkkk haha

i got mine done at " nor easst designs" in mass and after looking at it and what we decided i like the 1 on my car but it isnot whaat we all wanted so i am going to have it changed very soon i thnk the lettering is way too bigover the state,thanks everyone for pointing that out also i know you can order yours from lowfive here..just post up your colors andkeep thread alive til all have posted and iwill do one big order to keep cost down for all

I know that you have been the topic of a few conversations between a number of different people :lol:

You have been "grandfathered in" to stay with NES if you would like since you have been with from inseption. But you can of course do and go where ever you would like. Oh and since from an historical stand point (nothing to do with Scikotics or chapters or any of that) .... CT is part of New England so you could really do either. :lol:

I am NOT the authority on this in any way. I'm just relaying info that I have heard and conversations that I have had.
