Hey guys, Couldn't do anything today (broke$) so decided to throw the 10mm spacers on. Right now the wheels are stock 7 spokers, the best i could do with stock lugs was 3 turns. I'm guessing im gonna have to buy something else now, but if someone could steer me a bit. Do they make lug bolt extensions or something... either way thanks for tips!

I have seen them for sale in the classifed sections on other forums, but as to where to buy them I have no idea.

Need to get hub spacers not wheel spacers.

Great, do you got a website in mind? I searched briefly & found info on the price but the link to the store was bad. No rush still waiting on my rims anyway.

Some places call them hub shims i think. I'm assuming they're the same thing?

You looking to space your front or rear wheels? Fronts need wheel spacers and the rears hub spacers.

For rear hub spacers check out bbszero on clubxb or order them from his site. Click Me! (http://www.2zero6factory.com/#%21hub-spacers)

Thank you I found a. Fella on scionlife that makes em. I appreciate everyones help.

Here's my take on on the hub spacers.

The rear hub is affixed to the swingarm with four bolts. Along with the four bolts there is a cylindrical piece that fits inside of the swingarm. The four bolts along with the cylindrical piece help distribute the load evenly and the cylindrical piece even offers extra support.

When you install the hub spacer now the load sits squarely on the four bolts only, and the cylindrical piece is taken out of the equation.

My suggestion to you is to install ARP wheel studs along with whatever wheel spacer will fit your need.

There are two ARP wheel studs that will fit your ride:

1- Toyota Celica GTS '86-'89 p/n 1007718
2- Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII p/n 100-7717.

The Toyota wheel studs are 12M x 1.25 length 2.340"
The Mitsu wheel studs are 12M x 1.5 length 3.000"

The longer Mitsu wheel studs will require you to use different lug nuts than the standard OEM equipment. The Toyota wheel studs use the same lug nuts as stock.

A regular Grade 8 bolt is rated at 120,000 psi. An ARP wheel stud is rated at 200,000 psi.

I've been using The ARP Toyota wheel studs with a .625 wheel spacer (rear) and have expericnced no problems. As soon as I get some time I will be switching those out for some of the ARP Mitsu wheel studs with a .875 wheel spacer (rear).

Hope this helps you out ...
