Congrats Brian aka Vettereddie! You are this month SOTM!!
Thanks for being an awesome sciko!
vettereddie (Brian) - Southern Maryland Chapter
Good day my good people of Scikotics! Again I’d like to nominate my VMFIC and good friend, Brian Vetter aka “vettereddie” of the Southern Maryland Chapter. Brian, as most of the Mid-Atlantic Scikotics and Scion enthusiasts may already know, is a very dedicated member, an all around awesome enthusiast and a man amongst men & women. Brian drives a 2005 Scion xB. His attention to detail, his striving efforts to have one of the nicest xB’s in the Southern Maryland area, shows his level of dedication; not only to the brand but to the Corp of xB drivers and Scion enthusiasts.
As the former HMFIC and current VMFIC of Southern Maryland, Brian was able to keep the club afloat during several of our leadership’s absence, including myself. He was able to continue pushing issues like the club banner and shirts, which we now have because of him. He continued to recruit members, spread the good word of Scikotics, and he continued to take the position with all the stuff it entailed. To this date, Brian still remains active on and off the boards making the Southern Maryland and Maryland Chapters both, a great Scikotics state. Brian also has a high level of intelligence that is a valuable compliment to the team. He’s been able to help assist members in questions and pointing them into the right direction whenever he could help.
His xB is modified with a wheel chair ramp in which he uses for transportation for his wife Michelle who suffers from multiple sclerosis [MS]. Brian is a dedicated and very loyal man, and I respect him at a level that I can honestly say is higher then most. Brian shows that the club is not only about the cars we drive, but in fact the people around you. I personally have been afforded a great and genuine act of kindness and friendship from him that I cannot express how much it means to me personally. I had recently moved from my old house and had a 23 day gap in between my old house and my new place, without a place to stay, Brian took note of the situation and offered a place for me to stay so I wasn’t without a roof above the nugget. These examples I’ve shared are only some of the reasons why I think Brian should not only be the Scikotics Members of the Month, but a model in how this clubs members should interact with each other. We’re all family and he embodies our "One Love" approach!
It’s great to have you in the club, as a leader, member and as a good friend!
