I just got the optional security system, and no how to sheet. They give you a three page for the fog lights, and none for this cluster.
It looks like plug and play, but it would be nice to know what plugs in where.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

I can get this from some friends at the dealer. Do you still need it?

I have it in pdf if you send me your email. BTW, I just looked at it today since I picked up a system on Sunday, looks like a long install. You need to remove the center dash, glovebox, steering wheel cover, etc. This thing runs everywhere.

I have installed it on my xb and on another 06 xb...it looks like a long process on the manual..i found my manual at trd sparks..
But if your willing to make it easier to pull the wires on the drivers side..i recomment taking off the dash...it wont be a tight fit for your hands when working where the speaker is located..everything else is pretty easy its alot of plug and play exept for one wire that i decided to cut to make it easier...If you need any help let me know

36 pages of instructions.
Thanks for the tip Bernard. Do you know why or what the steering wheel controls do? I have mine hooked up to my siren because there is an after market HU in there :lalala:
I hate to put it back to make the alarm work properly.

My steering wheel controls are not hooked up in mine..i have an aftermarket radio so i have no use for them lol..
But they are to control the stock headunit lol

So the alarm works fine without the steering wheel controls, or stock HU in there?

yep..i have not had any problems with it...I'll set off the alarm before i go home to be 1000000% sure it is working properly with out the controls hooked up to the radio. Im at work.. but i'll check it and when i get home i'll post if it works good..

Could someone send me the PDF instructions as well? I have 3 of these units sitting around to give to people, but no instructions to hook them up.

I have audio controls but have an after market radio..and the controls are not hooked up...this does not affect the alarm, my alarm works perfectly without these controls hooked up
