Dude, you know I did that swap 4 years ago. I was sure I told you that back at a meet in Brandon. It's a lot to handle, it's a 10 on the hard scale. Your ecu will need to be changed also. To do it right with good parts and install 3,500.00 and that's if you can find someone to tackle it. If your serious and have the cash I can get the install done for you for 1,450.00. This is a serious task and no normal shop will touch it. Let me know.

LOL..that was 4 years ago..i cant remember what i did last week!! i can procure a donor trans for 350 bucks...i knew the ecu had to be changed...just have to get pedals and the cables/linkage whichever it uses. However...i have to get the cashola first :) trying to get everything buttoned down for a turbo within the next year if everything goes according to plan. i also have my extra engine that i will be rebuild too.

I got most of a Greddy turbo kit if your interested. Your local so any weekend you want to come by I'll show it to you and we can bullshit. If 300.00 sounds good you can have it. It's sitting in abox in my garage. Let me know.

I did it in a neon a few years ago it wasn't hard at all and I don't see a difference in the xb...

easiest way is to go to the dealer and "SWAP" it for a manual one! other than that like xbg said its a major pita
btw xbg, 300 is a steal!

It was extremely difficult I did it about 2 months ago and 3500$ later and 3 trannys later Took forever but is definetly worth it Better gas mileage Nd quicker ;)
