Anyone running one of these? Any positives/negatives? Comments?

Most pulleys are the same. Just make sure it is quality construction and you'll be fine. You'll probably pick up about 2-3 horsepower at the wheels from reducing the amount of rotating mass, so you won't even be able to feel it. Negatives...umm, you have to get your hands dirty.

Pictures of the broken one in the tC pics thread and the local xA that had to get a new motor after one of his broke was enough to keep me away.

Good to know. Do you have like to pics? Was it this brand or an off brand?

I'll go back through the thread tonight. The tC (same motor of course) was Pampito's car if you wanna PM him about it. Also I think there are threads about lightened pullies on SL.

And that is why I specified only "quality pulleys". I went with NST for mine. They have the track record and quality control so I had no hesitations buying a pulley from them. I was amazed at the quality when I opened the box.
