Moving rear Hatch glass...

Long story short, I backed into my wifes xterra and hurt my hatch yesterday on the way to the meeting. I kinda got approval from the wife to buy a carbon fiber hatch, but wanted to know how difficult moving the glass from the old hatch to the new hatch is?

Everyone I know that has switched out the hatch has had the glass removed and put back in by professionals. Not saying that it can't be done by yourself but it is cheaper to have them do it because the glass is expensive to replace.

Here is my problem. I called 4 places today. 2 of them say the glass cannot be removed, and the other 2 will not do it because they cannot get a gasket kit for it. This is podunk TN, and apparently Scions have not hit their WW2 radar yet. I guess I will try it myself. I called the local Scion shop, and he said it was 4 clips holding in the window. I looked at it, and it don't look to difficult. We will see i guess.
