So you just purchaced a new xD and relized that the aftermarket comunity has given the sidecar position in favor of the 2.4's. So i decided to start a thread for xD modders to throw out their ideas.

My idea to start the fire has to do with the odd strut sytem. I belive this is one the weakest points in the xD. Surely this has bugged someone else. Im trying to find spots to tie in some tube. If this works out I will tub the front and run DOM tubes attached to a 3/16 plate and run a 3 bolt air strut into the plate. When theory turns into science I will post pictures.

the only thing i really want for our car, is an intake manifold and more exhaust component options such as a midpipe, another set of headers, maybe a high flow cat pipe. we have alot of suspension parts,alot of axlebacks, alot of brake parts, and alot of cosmetics out. I would love to see a turbo and I know the rally XD is running one, but i have no funds for that. simple bolt-ons such as the two mentioned hold my interest.

what is your reasoning, for doing all that just to bag the front? NOT knocking just wandering the reasoning for all the extra work?

I agree, that is an awful lot of work for the front end of an urban cruiser. If you are going to redo the front end like this chop the whole front clip off and make a tube chassis front end to fit a larger motor in there.

Then I am all for the work otherwise just ask the people with bagged xD's already what strut to use if you do not want to use Universal Aerosport bags.
