never heard of this before. At 1st i thought it was some type of 2 step to control your launch but doesnt seem like it is. Im about to do some research too.

Edit: Oops. Didn't read fully.

I wonder how this would work. Research it! Maybe for turbo apps it works awesome :D

doesnt the tC have an electric throttle or something like that? maybe it only works for those type of throttles. i could understand how something like that could make the throttle more sensitive and respond quicker if thats the case

*edit* so yea i didnt some quick research and looks like i was right. Its made for cars with electric throttle control. i found a vid on what i think is a IS300(newer gen) and it shows all 4 S modes in use.

http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=6TpR7l9fO5o&feature=related

also found this on Nengun.com
"The Blitz throttle controller enables alteration of the electronic throttle controller on many newer vehicles. Through 4 different modes ranging from Economy to Sport the reaction of the accelerator pedal can be altered to suit economy or performance.Economy Mode
Designed to provide smooth throttle response for street driving providing greater fuel efficiency
Sport 1
Throttle is opened greater at lower revs compared to standard, providing faster low down acceleration but with no modification once the revs increase.Sport 2
The throttle is opened at twice the rate of standard acceleration, designed for sport driving and circuit use.
Sport 3
Extreme sport and circuit use, the throttle is opened at four times the standard accelerator action.
Reverse Cancel harness
Prevents operation in reverse gear for safety when entering your garage"

I believe the tC has an electric throttle not 100% sure i know most new cars do. So looks like you guys are lucky! Unfortunately i cant use it on the 240 =(

WOW !!!! 420 dollars but from the looks of the video it really would work well.

the only thing i would be worried about is the launch. I remember when i had my tC i had a hard enough time keeping it under 2,000 rpms when i would launch and the Throttle Controller pretty much just makes your throttle response more sensitive. It would be a nice setup with a 2step tho that why you can set your rev limit for a launch. If anyone gets this let us know how you like it. I've been thinking about getting another tC and this would be a nice plug and play to mess with

I've sent off for a quote and also talking with a local distributor, see if they are interested in setting up a sponsorship.

I want a sponsorship.... I would buy 2 of them 1 for the tC & well 1 for the bedroom

I wonder what this could do for turbo apps.

These are very popular in Japan. I know for a fact I am getting one for my xB2. Wether it be the Blitz or the TOMs of Japan one.

You guys just need to remember all it does is make the electric throttle more sensitive at the pedal. Your not going to increase HP your just going to have faster response.

Yeah thats exactly what I want. I usually tighten up my throttle cables in a mechanical throttle car. So this is definatly for me.

I spoke with Blitz yesterday they are testing them this week on a few models. They told me that they will release them at the end of this week or early next.

can't wait... I hope Blitz makes a video for the test runs on the tC :) I hate how there is so much lag as of right now & i can not wait to see what ECU codes pop up on this fun toy :)

all you have to do is adjust the throttle position sensor on our cars. i adjusted mine and it is so sensative. there is alot of play in the pedal from the factory.

I would like to know how as well. I was looking at mine and I didn't see anything to adjust, not to mention the TB is a pita to reach.

It's throttle by wire so they just add something that will boost the electrical signal to the ECU.

Oh, I was talking about the guy who said he adjusted his TPS. I get how the Blitz controller works.

DYER

the blitz thrattle controller does not actually increase horsepower but it takes the linear map of the throttle pedal sensor and increases its curve to the computer pretty much it makes your pedal more touchy it all has to do with the drive by wire system if you have ever noticed sometimes you press the throttle pedal down a bit and it takes a second then the rpms go up that is because the accellerator pedal is ran off a position switch thats voltage is transferred to the computer and the computer than calculates the position of the pedal then aplies it to the throttle body thus drive by wire the blitz unit just changes the signal to a more aggressive linear map making the pedal more touchy and throttle response becomes way more sensitive

CHRISthaNINJA

Is there any way to adjust your pedal sensitivity without buying that?
